Why are rewards not dropping at levels higher than my current level in IB?
What is wrong with rewards? I've only gotten drops at the level I'm at and not above in IB. In addition exotics are also decoding to my current level 393, and not above. They were working fine yesterday and over the weekend. Something is really messed up starting today. Thanks Bungie, such splendid motivation to keep playing...

Well im not getting rewards above my light level all of them keep dropping out at 400 so stop complaining ur not the only one

1 ReplyThis is why i gave up playing the game a few weeks ago, i was making great progress grinding my level then suddenly even the high level strikes wouldn't drop above a 350 or 360 when i was 391. I think they're screwing with us. I hope everyone remembers all this shit when the next game comes out before handing bungie cash.

Ran it last night. Got a lmg that was higher, every drop after which were all lmg or boots were 1 or 2 levels below me. I didnt change any of my gear either.

7 RepliesThere's many different theories out there, but what I found in my playtime and looking at other guardians posts, whatever your lowest light piece is, that needs to be brought up to your current light. So if all your armor is 395, but your bond is 390, most stuff you decrypt will be around 390 or just alittle higher. You will have to go to the appropriate activities in the game to get that up, once you do that, you'll be fine.

Chances are one of you pieces of equipment are at a low light.

Edited by l MC BENNETT l: 11/10/2016 12:42:58 PMMake sure every piece of gear and weapon is the highest you have. Even if it isn't good for pvp just equip all highest light stuff. I'm getting 3-4 light higher gear. And then I either equip it or infuse it before the next match

Everything I have gotten so far has been above my light level I was 394 light before iron banner finished rank 5 and was 398. So many 400 light clever dragons I don't know what to do with them

Ive had lots of things drop at either the same light level or lower very annoying

Strangely i've had 5x 400LL drops at 395. My friends drops are all 1-2 below his light level. I don't know whats going on but he sure isn't happy about it!

I've been playing at 399 light all day with my primary being the only thing below 400 and every drop was 400. I thought it was good until I saw this post lol.

I'm having the same issue. Posted about it on the thread about there being no rank packages and got called a liar.

I've only played for a couple of hours so far but 5 out of the 6 legendaries I've got have dropped at my current LL (391). One dropped at 392. Not much incentive to play if that continues.

5 RepliesIf we could see your loadout it would be easier to help. I am guessing you have a couple low light items equipped. Its based on what you have equipped not your overall char light level. For example - If I have all 399 or 400 gear my drops are 400. If I am using a 170 Atheons Epilogue to work on the Thorn bounty drops plummet to 360ish.

At 392 I am getting some 393 gear that doesn't help, but I'm also getting 396/397 gear that does. Grind it out.
