SBMM Needs to go
I have played 8 games this morning trying to win ONE! I had above a 3 KD and no wins.. wonder why? You give me fn potatoes on my team.. 1 guy all morning has went positive

For the people saying i need to capture the zones in zone control -
Why should I capture the zones if all my team is doing is dying while standing in each and every zone. Im trying to keep them off a zone. In a game i held the WHOLE entire team off B for half the game. If the other team is dead they cant capture zones. Ill continue watching as idiots on my team get all together in a zone, then run in a straight line to the next zone. Some of you have no clue how to play zone control or control in general.. yall continue trying to capture C while holding A and B.

I remember when I would go on win streaks with rando's. Held my own too. Would consistently get top three. After years of crucible I [i][b]finally[/b][/i] got my K/D to a modest 1.0 Now a days, I can maintain that top three but I just don't win... like we do good, hold the score good. Then halfway or towards the end, my team seams to get all worked up cause we're about to win. Ends up feeding kills to the enemy team and then boom... I dunno how to feel about it to be honest... I have been trying my damndest to get my KD up for WEEKS. But, my character is my day-1 character... and I have A LOT of shit-scores to over come... it seems impossible to raise my kill death at all. I started doing Osiris last year, it's helped me get better at PVP but this match making situation is ridiculous. As some other people have expressed in the comments sometimes I get thrown into great matches where I'll have near 2.0 or higher than "breaking up those teams" happens, and I either get thrown into a team that has no idea why they're doing and we're getting -blam!-ed by the other side, and I end with a 0.3 KD at the end because I was trying to carry. It sucks.

Yeah it really does... Every single time I go in skirm without a full team, I play against other real solid players...yet get paired with absolute potatoes dude. Even when it's 6 solo players ... I'll get 2 [b]f[/b]ucking nubs versus 3 random good players lmao. Tonight a friend & I hopped in, & only played a few games....every single game our 3rd didn't get over 750 points, & it was a different player every time. I used to feel like I just had bad luck back when they first implemented it..now I just think it's broken because it's been that way for months.

I made a new account called YoungHawkMoon and got a phantom my first game and have a 4.0 KD overall with crap weapons that's proof SBMM is still here and very strong I agree it needs to go

People fail to see that it's not actually Skill Based Match Making. It's Win Base Match Makijg in the crucible. It currently has the highest setting on wins/losses so those who are sitting with a 60%win rate from being able to carry will see a much more incompetent team then someone who goes .9-1.2 on everage with a 50% win rate. Bungie has never made a good MM system mainly because they obviously don't no how to create proper Boolean code.

Having a 2.4 kd in New Zealand is just horrible, it takes me 20 minuets to find a match and when I finally get a game I'm either joining late and I'm on the losing team or I get paired up against the try hards and have the blueberries on my team, and in that case I'm expected to get 50 kills 10 captures and 15 assists. SBMM has ruined pvp.

Just let us choose between CBMM and SBMM. If people want competitive play, they should be matched with competitive players. If they want to mess around and have fun (which elitists think isn't a thing) then they should have their own playlist.

I get like 35kills with complete utter domination on my part but my teammates get 2 - 5 kills the entire game. The gameplay is fun but I can't understand how we end up losing and I can't get just one other competent player on my side. I regularly have games where I have over 10k points by myself and we still lose. Not to mention the games in progress where it's 16k to 5k and you are on the losing side with no chance in hell of turning it around. Gotta love those, too.

1 ReplyAnyone else look at recent games and notice how SBMM put a bunch of 1 kd average people on his team AND the other team. Seems like if SBMM was there everyone would be more 2 ish kd range. Maybe im just wrong who knows.

how hard can it be to put matchmaking back to how it used to be? literally everyone has complained non-stop since it was implemented why can't they just give players what we want rather than what they want?

So basically 1 player "eats" the connection and the other players can't do S**T ;) But hey man, this is Destiny.
