A Heartfelt Thanks to All The Shotgun Rushers Out There
I want to offer a heartfelt thanks to all the shotgun rushers.
After a rather long hiatus I have returned to Destiny and have found myself being unusually successfully in the crucible.
Could it be I have gotten better through some unknown osmosis?
Eh, I wish but highly unlikely.
After having a relatively successful round of rumble it occurred to me.

It all makes sense...
In some players eternal search for the weapon with the lowest learning curve they have migrated back to shotguns...

No longer must I fear going to an ammo box placed in the open or walking down a long hall way. All the scrub snipers have now turned into scrub shotgunner and that's ALOT easier to deal with.
So [b]THANK YOU[/b] shotgun rushers...
As I bear-bait you out of your little hidey hole with a well placed grenade and you mindlessly run at me like a 28 Days Later zombie only to be put down half way there, firing off a desperate out of range shot...

BUMP They run straight into a fusion rifle from SO FAR AWAY. Not just any fusion rifle, but Sal's Vigil with almost the slowest charge time in the game. They have time to change direction, jump or almost anything to keep from taking all of it but no. They just run straight into it and get disintegrated. Seriously, thanks shotgunners.

But tbh it is so easy( and fun) to shotgun, when I was a level 34 hunter( did not have taken king, and it was 2014) I would get 20+ kills with my good ol dido A and barely any deaths. Now I just enjoy sniping the crap out of people which is funny considering how I couldn't snipe at all , but after awhile of practice I got good. 😃

3 RepliesStill miss the variety of sniping in the game. I feel like the people complaining about "skrub camping snipers" never played a 3s game mode.... I personally don't care for 6s and I can't remember ever losing a game of trials to a sniper who camped.. even when I snipe, I'm all over the place. Watch Kraftyy to see how a sniper should move. But instead, we have the same boring thing... trading in a shotgun fight. Riveting. Don't think I've ever heard anyone say "damn, nice shot gun shot" before either lol

4 Repliesi was positive kd on all characters up until the sniper meta then i went down below 0.9 on all 3, now i'm steadily getting back to positive i play aggressively and enjoy the faster pace shotguns bring to the game, i do like to snipe but im not great at it

1 ReplyAny one that uses the word scrub isn't worth taking seriously. People use the guns in the game they are there to use not stare at if people have an issue with a gun class being used then they should get over it. Other wise quit crying on the forums.

2 RepliesI just get how in the span of fps games, people cry about fps pvp being the same with all the shotgun kids present, yet a decade later and people are still employing the same techniques. Be the change you want to see and all that jazz. On the other hand, it's difficult not to see the value in shotguns when every other player camps a corner or every time you turn a corner... There's a fellow with a shotgun who will no doubt beat my scout rifle at these close proximities.
