Weekly restock is perfect, but it'll never happen. Bungie forces RNG to be the #1 way to find the best item... and what do you have to do to keep trying for the best RNG... you have to keep playing. You ever wonder why they got rid of re-rolling? It had nothing to do with the players re-rolling for the God roll, but it had everything to do with players not playing more to get that God roll.
This game is a modern casino. Win you get something good, it's like hitting that slot machine. Lights go off and the sound makes you excited. RNG is the worst part of this game.

While I appreciate your support for the idea I do not agree with your assessment of how and why. Restocking vendors would not alleviate our reliance on RNG. Nor should it. I would actually consider chance a very important part of any loot grinder. The thing is though, that as it stands Bungie has created a lot of systems pertaining to legendary marks that serve close to no purpose in the game. My reasoning behind restocking vendors has less to do with the availability of good rolls and more to do with creating compelling gameplay loops out of the systems already in place. The way I see it. Restocking vendors would give us more reasons to participate in the activities that bungie has offered us. And that is what the end goal of any game design is and should be.

They probably wont no. I was just saying it doesn't make any sense. If it is random then it's just as reliant on RNG and it would give us more reasons to grind stuff we are currently not grinding. The effect would be that we play more, not less.

I wish they would, but I'm sure they fear that one god roll that EVERYONE would get.
