Any Strike. Just did 320 LL and got 395 drops. Don't do the Level 36 or whatever. That's the TTK version and had no chest.

is that true? I was trying to level up my artifact, and watched a vid on youtube where he said the way to go was Valus T'aurc strike, since the only strike-specific loot is the treads upon stars. so you will be guaranteed to get that and an artifact. he said the only issue is you have to go through the heroic playlist. I did it, and got lucky - 1st strike was Valus. Of course he was wrong, as I got the scout, but also got a class item instead of the artifact!! but you are saying I could have just chosen this strike from the map, chosen "hard" (320 LL strike) and gotten both of those as well? Thanks!

Yeah. The only reason to run the playlist is for rep and find keys. If you just need to use a key, 320 LL is fine.

wow. so all these people trying for Imago Loop? they can just select one of the two strikes for a chance at it, huh? It's not like you get two drops (like I did - weapon and class item) if you do heroic, and only one drop for regular? Sorry to keep bothering you with these questions.

The keys only give ONE drop to my knowledge. Only one or two strikes have an exclusive class item. However, every chest has filler class items. They're optional extra drops like ghost shells from faction packages. So you really got one drop (Treads) and an optional drop (Class Item). I know this because Valus doesn't have an exclusive class item.

May wind up getting a 393 artifact next time you know? the only weapon I would really want is Imago Loop. I got an absolutely GOD Roll Grasp of Malok when it was NF back in May! Now with Gheleon's 3rd eye artifact, it truly is God roll!!

I've used two keys since hard mode dropped. Both were for helmet/heavy from SABER. I use Archon's Forge for ghosts, class items, and artifacts. Skeleton Keys for missing specific items like a primary or heavy. Exotic Engrams to fill the last gaps. Of course, I raid every week as well.
