Yes but warlocks overall aren't very useful pve wise, not to mention pulses don't require much placement, neither do thermites, or magnet grenade.
But also they have more versatility because there's different types of grenades, all warlock grenades are easier to use but don't do much damage.

I don't disagree with a titan's effectiveness. Warlocks are just more accessible. They're basically the ryu of Destiny.
-
Akuma is a better description for warlocks
-
I was referring to ease of use again, not playstyle. Ryu/Ken are usually the first character that new players become good at. They aren't the best, but it doesn't take much to be decent with them.

If akuma didn't have less health he would actually be easier than ryu or ken. Air hadoukens and faster moves makes him easier.

That would make him better, not easier. I can teach someone who has never played a video game how to pull off nearly all of ryu's moves in just a few minutes. It only took about 30 secondsfor me to teach how to use ryu's super/ultra in sf4, for example. This makes ryu an easier character. Akuma's raging demon took significantly more time for them to learn. So if akuma had more health, he would be better but not that wouldn't make his moves any easier to perform.
