I mean you only get loot once a week from the raid so how is it fair that you can sit there and go flawless all weekend and continually get loot. It'd also solve a lot of problems of people elo farming and give way for more people to go flawless. I mean it took me three weeks to even get my first piece of raid armor yet the first weekend of trials I saw people decked out in full sets of all flawless gear.

Edited by Prizmal: 10/18/2016 7:27:33 PMThe raid is entirely different than trials. In the raid you have more chances at gear whether it may come from an exotic chest, vosik, siege engine, Aksis phase 1 & 2, AND you have additional opportunities at gear with cache keys. I see terrible players complaining about people getting carried, that is the minority, most people don't get carried, they do it for themselves. Wait what? Someone actually working to get something they wanted? Why wasn't it handed to them? Please. Edit: Btw you only get loot once per week too. 5 win armor, 7 win gun, flawless, and bounties. Granted, the gold bounty refreshes every day but it doesn't take skill to complete that.

1 ReplyAnyone want to tell me what an elo is?

Could care less - ToO is starting to get boring as well. :(

I think you sort of already only get flawless once per character per week in terms of adept rewards (someone with experience of flawless can confirm or deny - sadly I cannot 😢). It seems fair to me. I might not ever get lighthouse but I always enjoy it just playing with my equally mediocre friends. And I get decent level participation trophies from drops and bounties. And the odd epic play between thrashings! I will say, for what it's worth, that the only way to 'fix' Trials is to get more people playing, and they should do this with a matchmaking facility that tracks inactivity to eliminate timewasters and grants rep to active 'randoms'. Hopefully people will find new permanent teammates this way too. If double the numbers of players played the chances of mediocre/lucky teams making it increases. Some on both sides might disagree for one reason or another, but I think it's the only way to cater for semi-casual without pissing off active serious players.

46 RepliesI'm sorry but people thinking like this is what's wrong with this community. If you can't go flawless practice and get better or find better teammates. You are not entitled to go flawless.

2 RepliesI'll rate this thread based off OP's KD. 0.93/10

You only get flawless loot once per week per character...........but nice try. Stupid post. Get gud.

8 RepliesHahah, where do I start! 1. You only get rewards from the light house one time per weekend on each character. 2. People enjoy playing trials, especially the people that are good at it. Prohibiting them from playing once they have achieved flawless wouldnt prevent them from playing. They would simply reset thier card before they hit thier 9th win. I would like to see something geared towards skill based or at the very least, connection based. The reality of it is that its sole purpose is to pit the best of the best against each other. More often than not its a one sided beat down, but to be fair, its a competition, not a guaranteed handout. There isnt one person on this forum who hasnt been crushed on thier 8th game.

2 RepliesYes. Once you go flawless you should be locked out of trials per character until the following week. This would prevent carries and kd farming. It would give more people a chance to do well instead of getting steamrolled by no life's. I know streamers would just make a second account to do more carries but at least it would limit the carries to the amount of effort they put in.

3 RepliesI've never gone flawless. I've barely stepped foot in that sweat-fest. Tried it with some fellow raiders, died quickly, then we laughed and parted as gentlemen. That was week one of Trials last year. I'm not sure there's anything at that lighthouse that I "need", so unless some of my RL friends are on and willing to try it (which never happens), I doubt I'll ever get to Mercury... and I'm completely cool with that. I could care less what other people do... but I DO need to fill my RoI book, so I guess I'll be trying it again in the next 10 months or so.

Smh all I have to say

4 RepliesYou only get year three Trials gear drops once a week for each character. You get an armor piece at your first passage at 5 wins, a weapon at your first passage at 7 wins, and upon achieving flawless for the first time each week, you will receive a handful of trials gear/goodies. You can get decently leveled year one and year two trials armor just from participating in trials. The more wins you get, the better the drops are, obviously, but you also get drops from the bounties. The bounties are so simple to complete and reward half decent items.
So in conclusion even sub-human scrublord cry babies like yourself still have a chance to get a full set of gear that you don't deserve. At least children like you can't get the flawless exclusive ornaments.
Please, Trials is an elite form of crucible for those who have what it takes to get to the top. If you lower the difficulty level, then there's no point in even trying, because there will be no challenge at all. Good day.

Lol well that's retarded

I spent all of Y1 and Y2 thinking you could only go once. I was amazing when i actually did good in trials and decided to pick up another passage, upon the egging on of my team. 2 years. And i hadn't worked it out.

1 ReplyThis is why you don't give kids participation trophies. They grow up and think that they deserve everything and don't have to earn anything.
-
1 ReplyLet's up the anty you can only get 1 card per week per character. Sherpas could still carry but if they lose 3 times they can't play anymore but for the mediocre to sub par players get a better chance at flawless later in the weekend.

You don't seem to understand what endgame content is...
-
You have no idea how trials loot works do you?
-
I think bungie needs to separate the player pool, once you go to LH for that week your future matches for that week are against other LH visitors. I did an LFG last night with two randoms, both of whom turned out to be cool dudes just to complete bounties....first matches on cards were usually against fairly equal skill leveled teams and the matches were fun and competitve, but after that?Forget about it.....we went against a team that was clearly lag switching, and a bunch of other teams that were just much better at it then we were...... The current matchmaking is simply not fun.

You can only get loot once per character buddy.
-
4 RepliesAnother trials passes, and another nerd that didn't go flawless cries like a little bitch See the pattern here? I do I try to go flawless every weekend since I've been playing and it doesn't happen. But I don't cry, because it supposed to be hard. It's the end-all be-all of this game. Basically, get good scrub and quit bitching like a bitch

Stop trying to make this game just for casuals.... Bungie has already made it easy as -blam!- to level up light, Trials is meant to be tough.
-
Are you stupid? You can do the raid 3 times per week for rewards. Why would flawless not be the same? Logic idiot.
