Most your questions on sherio can be explained with simply common sense and not twisting the context of what people are saying

Everything that I've used was based on what we have in the original story. The possibility of Rasputin be an exo was taken from the Andal line of thinking and Saladin's words bring us more tips about a living or different Rasputin unknow by Vanguard and I really think that our common sense guide us to an exo being a possible personification for the warmind. Regarding the "stretch", we know that the things seems to be included without context in Destiny and be explained just after a new DLC or something like that, we can use for example the motivation behind the hive interests in Earth and the traveller that was clarified when TTK arrived (even with Sword of Crota being launched before). We just receive minor tips about the whole and try to resolve the puzzles.

I acknowledge your point that rasputin might be working on a physical body. And applaud for picking up on that ☺☺ (not being sarcastic so many people have missed that) What I mean by context twisting. Is reading between the lines when it's not needed. Like the joke cyades rasputin the whole card was simply to highlight cades behaviour nothing more nothing less (hope that makes sense) the context for shiro is as boring as it seems he simply is the vanguards best scout the simplest answer is normally the right one. Finally I think I misunderstood you original story point as pre destiny and not year 1. If so my bad The tldr: people need to stop looking answers to questions that have not come up. Rasputin is an AI who lives in a bunker. It is way more likely that he plugs himself into a siva fallen than an exo guardian! Guardian being keyword. Sorry for poor English typing in a hurry
