Hey,everyone. I need your help. I pre-ordered Destiny The Collection the week before Rise of Iron releases and this will be the first time I'm gonna be playing this game. Right now I'm having a hard time choosing which class fits perfectly for me. So far,I've been thinking of choosing either Titan or Hunter. I was gonna go for Warlock because they are more agile among the rest and I like the way they shoot Nova Bombs from their hands but they have less armor and I know he isn't the type of guardian I wanna be. What I love about the Titan is that he has heavy armor which he can deal heavy damage and I also like the way he looks. Hunter is also good. I heard they are stealthy assassins because they can turn invisible with the Bladedancer sibclass and I do love being stealthy. They are both good classes but I just don't know which to choose. And btw,I might be playing the game mostly solo because my friends aren't always online when I play Destiny. So I wanna know, which class and subclass should I choose (even if I'm going to play the game mostly solo)? Thanks so much in advance.

1 ReplyTry them all, that's why you have 3 character slots. Figure out which one best fits your play style.
-
5 RepliesI say try all Three at some point so you know which one fits your play style best. I would do Defender Titan first. The jump is easily mastered, it works well for PvE, and it is the most forgiving IMO.

10 RepliesBesides the supers, the biggest difference between the classes are how they jump. Titan jumps are to die for. As are the flaming hammers. I main a Titan. I always play my Titan unless there is a specific reason to play an alt. I will say no more about Titans. Titans sell themselves. Titan. Used to main a Hunter before I joined the dark side (Playstation) and that was great fun too. Their jumps are not as smooth but you can opt for a triple jump instead of a double, which I like. Hunters also have shadowstep (a kind of dodge), invisibility and sneaky stuff like that. Plus a throwing knife melee on the gunslinger subclass. Nothing like headshotting someone with a knife. They also look like they are the class that's most likely to survive being shipwrecked on some remote island. Plus they wear cloaks. Very snappy. Warlocks don't really jump, they float. Crazy slow and really high. But they have a melee that has better reach than many shotguns. (I don't know that to be literally true, but damn can you smack people around.) If you've ever wanted to be a sith lord you should go Warlock. One of the supers has you gliding around above the ground while shooting lightning from your hands. Palpatine-style. Way cooler than the nova bomb. The last super lets you resurect yourself which might come in handy for a solo player. Unfortunately, they have really ugly coats. And silly armbands. Great helmets though. But honestly, you will end up levelling up all three. So just pick the one you like the most to start with. (Titan.) You'll have time to experiment with all of them :) Also, welcome to the grindiest game with the best FPS mechanics you've likely ever played! 2 RepliesPlay what you want! If you want to play titan, play titan! If you want to play hunter, play hunter! It doesn't matter what class is the best, just choose one that is fun!
-
1 ReplyTitan hands down
-
1 ReplyThis <Titan> post has been up <Titan> for at least two <Titan> days now and you don't appear <Titan> to have made a choice. Pick <Titan> one already and get <Titan> to having some fun playing <Titan > the game! Welcome and enjoy!
<Titan>
1 ReplyYou should make one of all three but just to give you my opinion: 1. Hunter. 2. Titan. 3. Play another game. 4. Like literally anything else. 5. Hunter again. ... 7654876. FIne, I guess I'll get on my Warlock.

The class with the best memes

1 ReplyTitan master race

1 ReplyTitan master race!

2 RepliesFor starting off, Titan is easier. Intermediate players then start another Titan. If you get to a professional level you may want to consider getting a Titan. What I'm trying to say is nerf Fusion Rifles :/

Titan

8 Repliestitans are the fastest class warlocks have the most possible armor hunters are pretty eh right now but very fun

1 ReplyI look at each class like this: Titan: Easiest to learn, hardest to master. Think of them like the Soldier 76's of Destiny. Not terrible complicated, but that's both a blessing and a curse. Recommendation if you're new to shooters and/or MMO's in general. Hunter: Really focused around having unique abilities (Invis, Shadestep, their many Melee abilities). Opposite of Titans in terms of mastering them (hard to learn, but easy to master after you've figured them out). Normally, I'd recommend Hunters for PvP more than PvE, but Nightstalkers are definitely an asset to have in any PvE activity. For experts or edgy 12-year olds. Warlock: For those that bought Destiny hoping for a MMORPG experience more than the FPS experience. That's really all I have to say on the matter.

3 RepliesCan't really go wrong with any! Love them all, but my warlock is my baby!
-
1 ReplyStart on a Titan first, they're easiest. Then try out Hunter. Then Warlock.
still haven't gotten the hang of that Warlock jump
-
1 ReplyI recommend using Hunters because, of their efficiency around the battlefield. They can get to places quickly, and get kills from the shadows...
-
18 RepliesPick hunter if you want to be competitive in pvp... Hunters suck bungie dick and get all the buffs... Titans get nerfed by these salty fuk hunters

5 RepliesEdited by AdligerAdler: 10/11/2016 1:38:35 PMIf you like awesome space magic And getting caught in the void If you're not into Titans If you have half a brain If you like throwing nova bombs at midnight In some stupid Hunter face Then Warlock is the class that you looked for Choose it and blink away

Edited by EdgyUrbanOrca: 10/11/2016 10:54:50 PMNightstalker Hunter for PvE support. That is all. If you're still looking for people to play with, I'm always down to help new people.

3 RepliesAs a warlock main, choose hunter. Easiest to learn and probably the most fun to start out with. Then when you max him out, make a warlock. Then a Titan. And don't waste your original spark of light! Level your character up to 40 yourself. It takes maybe a day? And if you want help I can help you out if you're on X1

Hunter

1 ReplyTitan or warlock first then after you play as both of them play hunter.
-
1 Replytry all 3 and give them a bit of time and then decide warlocks are not agile IMHO they are SLOW in the air etc.. but each one has pros cons and all of them are fun maybe just make 3 play 3 for the fun of each one

1 Replywarlock is the most op in crucible and the best all around (stormcaller for groups of mobs and in crucible, sunsinger for them self res, and void walker for anything really) then my other vote goes to titan. Hunter i guess if you wanna be a sexually confused teen like that other guy said.
