Hey,everyone. I need your help. I pre-ordered Destiny The Collection the week before Rise of Iron releases and this will be the first time I'm gonna be playing this game. Right now I'm having a hard time choosing which class fits perfectly for me. So far,I've been thinking of choosing either Titan or Hunter. I was gonna go for Warlock because they are more agile among the rest and I like the way they shoot Nova Bombs from their hands but they have less armor and I know he isn't the type of guardian I wanna be. What I love about the Titan is that he has heavy armor which he can deal heavy damage and I also like the way he looks. Hunter is also good. I heard they are stealthy assassins because they can turn invisible with the Bladedancer sibclass and I do love being stealthy. They are both good classes but I just don't know which to choose. And btw,I might be playing the game mostly solo because my friends aren't always online when I play Destiny. So I wanna know, which class and subclass should I choose (even if I'm going to play the game mostly solo)? Thanks so much in advance.

1 ReplyI started Hunter and now running a warlock to experiment. Personally I'm not a fan of Titan but it is a great class. Also I'm ps4 so if you wanna play sometime gimme a shout! Sir_Blu_ (anyone else welcome to as well).

1 ReplyHunter. Always pick Hunter. Doesn't matter what the question is. The answer is always Hunter.
-
1 ReplyWelcome to the world of Destiny( Titan) this is a great game but beware the people that are going to say your class is OP, kinda is but not really, and again, have fun
-
1 ReplyI'm a titan, but I'd say hunter. They're jack of all trades type of characters for both pve and pvp. So they are the perfect starting character.
-
Could be a squishy hunter, ballsy Titan, or that one warlock
i couldn't think much about warlocks I barely play mine
1 ReplyMake each class and experiment with them all, get a feel for what suits you best. If you ever wanna play together, send a friend request to Captain_Yankz1 I'm always willing to help out any and all newcomers.
-
1 ReplyHonestly? Make a character of each class, run through the main campaign with them and use whichever you feel most comfortable with.

6 RepliesIf you're doing PvE more I would suggest Warlock, because at level 15 you unlock Sunsinger and you can unlock a perk that lets you Self Res, if you super is charged when you die. If you're doing PvP more I would suggest Hunter, because at level 15 you unlock Bladedancer and the Skip Grenades are very good in PvP.

1 ReplyCreate all 3 classes. You'll get the absolute most out of the "Destiny" experience.

1 ReplyWelcome, bro. I'll echo the chorus of people suggesting all three for a couple reasons: You'll be better at the game (in PvE and PvP) if you know what all classes and subclasses are capable of. In Destiny's endgame, it's all about grinding for a slightly better version of a gun you already have. Having three chances at said gun is a lot better than having only one. (This is the most important one). SPACE. Bungie hates us and loves when I have to delete prized rare weapons to make space for new ones. Having three vaults is the best way to gain extra space, since we can't count on the developer to increase of vaults when they release a tons of new weapons. There are class-specific weapons that are pretty awesome (and Titan-specific weapons that are great for weapon parts and glimmer). There's probably more but my Gears download just finished so I gotta go. Again, welcome. Play Destiny for fun. Don't teabag people in PvP because they're not as good as you. Don't immediately blame your fireteam when you wipe. Play Destiny for fun. VinnyML on XB1 or VinnyMLps on PS4 if you need help.

1 ReplyI love all three but for a noob i would say titan because at the moment they are the most versatile
-
1 ReplyWhichever you choose, just have fun with it. If you're playing on Xbox One, add me. Gt is same
-
1 ReplyHunter. I can't stop playing it.

More agile than the rest.

Warlocks
Um...at least now I have proof you're newer. That being said, I chose hunter as my first because Batman. I now run Warlock because Void walker has given me such joy, much laughter. Infinite grenades with the right build, and a potential 1 hit grenade at that. A striker titan with TG gives me even more pleasure. Hope that helped a kittle.

1 ReplyTry them all

2 Repliesgo for warlock first, why? Fire born perk. once you maxed out your sunsinger class you can rise FROM THE DEAD. not only EXTREMELY helpful for when your teammates die, but when you're the last one alive too. don't have to worry as much for the "What if I die??" or "What if he dies???" now you can relax a bit and tell people "don't worry, I have my super." or if warlock isn't your style, Hunter Nightstalker class is a VERY GOOD support class. create alot of orbs to regenerate Warlock and Titan supers. bonus for the invisibility perk that can turn other invisible too. (blade dancer too; invisibility perks and the super can also turn you invisible if you have the right layout.) Titan, well Defender would be the way to go. create a shield to protect allies and boost their weapon damage stats, shield stats, or armor (most people go for weapons of light or blessing). I base my game play with my fireteams. so how your fire team is, maybe that's how you should roll. you can always make all 3, but which comes first? that's for you pal.

1 ReplyHunter is more agile and doesn't suffer as much for having low armor like the warlock. Titan makes a great tank or wall. Warlock can self-rez which is more important for PVE. Honestly make one of each class. Give them all a shot and then make your choice.

1 ReplyHunter is a bitch Titan is a bitch Warlock is a big bitch

3 RepliesDo them all, just make sure to take your time and like the way your character looks! Ha ha I would like to delete my Warlock and make him human for the grimmore but hey we all make mistakes. If you need help or just need someone to play with my PSN is jameson_51

1 ReplyChoose the Titan as your main. Personally, I enjoy using the Sunbreaker subclass over any of the other ones. The striker class works really well, too. Both are (in my opinion) the best for taking out large clusters of enemies. The Titan also has better looking armor 😃

1 ReplyTry them all, that's why you have 3 character slots. Figure out which one best fits your play style.
