3 RepliesIMO it all comes down to region. I can't play on XBL since there a barely any XB players around (matchmaking would take to long). Albiet if there were, i'm sure XLB would offer the better serivce.
-
Ive always been an Xbox fan and I hardly know anything about PS but each system is better in their own ways. Xbox has games with good and indie games while PS4 has like a free dumbed down version of XB live I think
-
6 RepliesHonestly I don't care. I buy consoles for games, not the network.
-
as a user with both consoles i preffer xbox live more.
-
I haven't played enough mp on PS4 to form an opinion of it. Only played Bloodborne and the matchmaking times seemed fine.
-
I've been with Xbox since the first one waaaay back. Also had a ps2. I'm in the middle of it honestly.

Edited by Esko: 9/14/2016 7:24:49 AMI ascended to pc recently. Steam is better than both.
-
5 RepliesXbox has better connections, better players, GWG has given me much better games then Ps+ has, and I've ran into less annoying people on Xbl
-
Potentially, it's been a while but I remember my experience with xbl to be smoother.

12 Replies>be me >play on PC >doesn't pay $60 a year for throttled connection to servers

2 RepliesSupport the American brand! #pearlharbor #neverforget

Never used Xbox live. I like PSN. Haven't had any problems with it besides the few outages, but that's expected with any system.

7 RepliesEdited by Owl: 9/13/2016 8:50:15 PMYeah, well who pays 10$ less? Oh, wait...

Edited by vxvxTITANxvxv: 9/13/2016 4:37:21 PMI seem to lag less on my Xbox than on my PS. Nothing too significant though.

1 ReplyNever used it - Check out my YouTube https://youtu.be/jAsGJ6n6E2s

2 RepliesThe hardware on the ps4 is technically better, but the free stuff from xbox gold, the indie game section, and the mod support make up for that in a heartbeat. I wish I didn't buy a ps4 now that I know this stuff.
-
33 RepliesYep and soon xbox will be back on top once the Scorpio releases.
-
I own both while my ps4 imo doesn't go down as much, the Xbox community is 10x better to play with/against imo.
-
1 ReplyXbox 1> ps4
-
The same.
-
2 RepliesIGN? Is IGN still a credible source for anything nowadays?
I don't really care whether Xbox's network is superior.
-
They both suck.
-
26 RepliesSteam crushes both easily.

2 RepliesFirst of all I'm an Xbox player. PS4 is the superior console no doubt, but in terms of online Xbox wins by a long shot. Keep in mind I'm not talking about connection or anything, but just how user friendly it is. Xbox has built a community ( even if it may be toxic lol ) that makes Xbox live a lot better than Playstation. Xbox knows what they're doing when it comes to making a good online service, they suck at keeping it online however.

Playing online I have never noticed a difference between XBL and PSN. I don't play too much online mind you but I've never had trouble on either. Sony does has that downtime problem, but I feel it's exaggerated. As soon as someone breathes about PSN being down, even if it's am isolated incident, the media and fanboys have an absolute field day with it. Other than that, the only proper noticeable thing is the download speeds. Downloading a game from XB just seems a lot faster. My download speeds on PS seem poor.
