Is there a better/faster way to get Bungie's attention towards the rampant cheating in ToO?
It never really was a big deal, but it is getting to be a real problem now. when looking at Destiny Tracker, there are people with 12 wins in a row where the longest match time taking only 2 minutes and 33 seconds. Yeah sure there is a chance that all of their opponents just so "happened" to get DC'd, but I think everyone knows what is going on here. I am not trying to start a manhunt, but if a mod/admin/whatever would like to be proactive about it, please let me know and I will give you a link to the evidence.
Thank you, and lets make Destiny great again!
Edit: After about 20 minutes since having his internet brought down, my friend's modem/router is still unresponsive from the attack.

Hello, When you believe someone is cheating the best thing you can do is use the in-game Report Player function: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12960 Additionally, you may report suspected cheaters at the following Contact Form: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13967 Bungie actively investigates network manipulation and other forms of cheating. We will continue to monitor game performance for people abusing the system and enforce our policies. We regularly address players who we have confirmed are cheating in one form or another. Rest assured that we will continue to do so. Thank you for reporting your experience and helping make Destiny a better community.

I use to play runescape and if you found a Phishing website there was a section of the forums where you could post with which only Jagex mods could see it and they could reply to you but only you would see it. I dont see why people shouldnt be able to take raw game footage and post it on the forums for someone high up to make calls on but it can only be seen by the person posting it and who ever has the power to make calls on bans. Its pretty obvious that when a team can sit on a capture zone in ToO and not get hit or take any grenade damage that they are cheating yet if you post it on the forums you get a forum ban.

1 ReplyIs there a way to address cheating that is fair to the community and beneficial to Bungie's bottom line? I think there is. First offense: 2 week ban Second offense: lengthier ban and your account is flagged for review. Third offense: game license is revoked. You lose access to your characters forever and if you want to continue to play Destiny, you must purchase another copy of the game. I think this is fair. It gives you a chance to correct your behavior, but it also levies a pretty serious consequence if you do not.

3 RepliesPlease report the people involved to xbl/psn. A console ban hurts more than a two week crucible ban, and it will actually be looked into.

9 RepliesWith the amount of posts on here about being restricted I'd say the in game reporting tool is doing its job just fine. Just because you don't get confirmation something has been done about the report doesn't mean it's not effective.

Just use a vpn and hope you don't get caught

2 RepliesWait, so did your friend's internet go down after the cheaters in ToO?
