2) The appropriate range is only as far as a warlocks base melee range.
Warlock base melee range = 6.0m
Blink Strike = 5.3m
Thunderstrike + Amplitude = 10.0m
What I would like to see is a separate button for melee overrides.
And when we use Blink Strike we just blink 5.3m forward unless we have a target within range, then we blink to the target and shank 'm.
Or maybe, change Blink Strike to where you lunge through your enemy and you slice them along the way landing behind them after the lunge.

Oh my bad, I'll fit it. Do you agree with my amplitude idea?
-
I think that while it should be Amplitude levels, it should be greater range than the standard warlock Melee. Maybe 8 meters It's not that I'm biased because I main Stormcaller, I just don't want the next nerfing conversation to be about Blink Strike.
-
Yeah I agree, when I said amplitude I meant a perk to give it greater range like amplitude, not literal amplitude range.
-
Oh, I meant to just increase the base range, not to create another perk like amplitude
-
Well Bungie won't do that, mostly because of Fast Twitch. Every few seconds you would be going pretty far. I wish we could have both, but we won't get it, so.

Edited by Ms Felicity: 9/1/2016 11:53:59 AMWell, I do would like to see something done with Blink Strike, because when you put yourself in a melee battle, you're instantly at a disadvantage (as Bladedancer Hunter), we do have other strengths however. I would like to see, maybe, bump up Blink Strike to 6.0m so we can atleast somewhat combat Warlocks in a melee battle. But I don't think we need another 10.0m melee. I believe Bladedancers to be an allround decent class. Decent super (albeit not easy to use, especially not with all the shotguns around now), decent grenades, decent perks to allow different playstyles, our melee is the least decent. All these decent things together make for a great subclass and that shows when good players play Bladedancer. Just try to avoid as many melee situations as possible for the time being. Oh and remove the Recovery penalty on Blink, that nerf was completely unnecessary.
