I hate mentioning their name because they don't deserve any publicity. They probably aren't even the ones who carried out the attack, they were just at the right place at the right time. It's also important to note that this isn't a hack, it's simply an attack; an illegal DDoS at that.
If you're unsure what a DDoS is, it's essentially an attempt to make an online service unavailable by overwhelming it with traffic from multiple sources.
These script kiddies also hit Blizzard and a bunch of others; I'd say by accident but whatever they still claimed they did it.
Anonymous uses their hacking abilities to target ISIS, while poodlecorp targets video games. GG 👌
"Poodlecorp, the online group have attack numerous other titles, claimed responsibility via their Twitter account."
"We are responsible for the downtime of EA & Battlefield," one message reads.

3 RepliesI think they did it again on Xbox again! I couldn't connect, when I have good internet. (To prove I hopped on bo3 and I was green barring it all the time.)

3 RepliesThere's a big difference between claiming responsibility and actually being responsible.
