Stormcallers have no neutral evasive maneuvers, no unique defensive/healing abilities, mediocre grenades, and an awkward jump.
Their melee and super are all they have going for them.
If you're going to nerf their melee, then they're going to need a buff somewhere else to make up for it.

Edited by PopsAutismo: 8/6/2016 6:54:38 PMHey, how dare you? My Glide is graceful. Seriously though, Voidwalkers can heal. Sunsingers have an overshield that procs just by hitting someone, and the Storm Grenade is the bee's knees
-
Warlocks have an amazing jump you dettie.
-
Their grenades are lackluster on its own. You'd need to use the grenade chain perk for the grenades to be of any use, and even then that would close the door on other perks. Then again, it seems that most, if not all, arc grenades are lacking compared to solar and void grenades
-
I'd take a range nerf if they gave us the Titan lightning grenade. Only then.
-
it can go for a distance nerf.
-
Not to mention horrible (spec specific) exotics.
-
Like Sunbreakers. But look at them now. Stormcallers are broken, and they need to be balanced
-
Nerf minotaurs!!!
-
This guy gets it
-
I agree with swift, sunbreakers at least have incindiary grenade and a fusion grenade, the best nade for stormcaller is their unique grenade which is actually very easily avoidable so the melee is what they got going for them
-
Don't forget they have one of the best regen perks
-
Ah yes how could I forget about cauterize?
-
Rob, You, Me, PM now

Rob bby, Go to time out

Sunbreakers have skating, sticky grenades, and an evasive maneuver via Twilight Garrison. Not... really sure what your point is.
-
Sunbreakers pre-nerf = Shitty neutral game, decent nades, good super, good melee Stormcallers pre-nerf = Shitty neutral game, decent nades, good super, good melee Sunbreakers now = Shitty neutral game, decent nades, decent super, decent melee Stormcallers now = Shitty neutral game, decent nades, good super, good melee Do you see what I'm talking about ?
-
Stormcallers have crap grenades, if they use arcweb they become more usable, but it's basically a required perk.
-
they work fine for me
-
Sunbreaker neutral game is way better than storm. Cauterize? Simmering flames? And infinitely better grenades than stormcaller. Sunbreakers also have much better mobility thanks to TG and skating. Warlocks are so painfully slow, even with max agility they are the slowest class with an atrocious jump. Meaning that to have a bearable amount of mobility you have to sacrifice a shit load of armor making them die from Flux and tripmines. Or you can spec into armor and be about as mobile as an elephant seal with some scoliosis and still have less armor than a titan who just skated by at mach 8. Stormcallers have mediocre neutral game that revolves around their 10 mile sniper melee. The only reason that subclass is even viable is because of the God tier super.
-
Sticky grenades + Twilight Garrison + being the fastest class in the game = shitty neutral game lol k
-
Sticky nades are decent. Titan Skating is going fast in a front line. TG is good, but not amazing
-
TG is better than any mobility exotic that warlocks have. Because they don't have any.
-
That is not part of the subclass
-
Sticky nades are better than any stormcaller grenade by a good margin. Being the fastest class in a straight line regardless of how you spec into armor/recovery/agility is a hell of alot better than going Max agility with zero armor and still being the Slowest in every possible direction. And TG is better than the stormcallers evade ability/exotic (which doesn't exist)
