Exotic engram and primary weapon lost after connection went out
this is very strange and quite upsetting, I had finally gotten the last word from a primary exotic engram, after I opened it about a second after what I got showed up on screen I'm disconnected, ended up restarted my router to get connection back to working order but the last word wasn't in my inventory neither the engram, also wasn't unlocked in the kiosk either. Am I just very unlucky or what can I do about this?

I suppose you're unlucky. Your grimoire shows you've never had TLW, so as far as the game is concerned, you've never had it. From my experience, the grimoire unlocks the same instant as receiving the weapon, so I suppose you'll just have to find it again. Best of luck guardian The Dude Abides
