I still use it for fun, don't get why people complain when they're not being killed by the DoT but rather my bullets itself.

Edited by TFL Washington: 7/23/2016 3:20:31 PMMainly because of the mental stress and anger that it caused them in the past. Edit: I still hate seeing that gun in use at all. To much anger caused from it. To much stress. To many trials runs ended because there were three thorns on the enemy team.

Lol. PTSD

I don't know if I'd go as far as PTSD, but I'm sure there have been more than a few mental breakdowns caused from that gun. Maybe there is some PTSD caused from it though. Wouldn't surprise me. That gun sent me over the edge so many times. I broke my first controller because of that gun. Even playing through and beating dark souls and dark souls 2 multiple times didn't bring me as much anger and hatred and mental stress as the thorn did. That gun was pure cancer, in a game.

Glad I missed that.

Are you saying that you never played when it was a god of a gun? If that's true then you are so lucky. I am jealous of that.
-
Ya. I didn't play PvP until it was the days of pulse rifles, Red Death!
-
You are one of the lucky ones then. That gun was terrible and you are so lucky to have avoided it. I'm jealous of that.

Post Thorn Stress Disorder. Was not joking about PTSD. That's wrong. Just making it clear.
-
Ah. I see what you did there. Very clever. In that case, many, many people have PTSD, including myself.
-
I only get annoyed when people use it sometimes because I think, Thorn was used to kill with the DoT perk, it's useless now so you could use Eyasluna or TLW which are much better imo. I wonder if they'll ever bring it back for Destiny 2 for lore purposes.

I understand that line of thinking, but you can't blame people for holding onto the past. It's human nature. And many people, myself included, remember nothing but anger and hatred for that gun.
