I used to be able to draw like that. I slowly stopped drawing and, now I'm horribly out of practice. I tried to draw a medeival battle sequence the other day...it was bad...really bad.

Keep drawing, I've fallen out of practice but I'm forcing myself into it again. Yeah my day job is nice, but I don't love it. I'm in love with drawing.
-
Yeah I'm definetly gonna try and get back into it.
-
You're basically me.
-
Yeah it seems to be a pretty common thing, I think most people just lose interest for some reason as they get older. But I know plenty of adults who love to draw, so I'm not sure if what I think is accurate. lol

Try drawing stick figures with correct angles and proportions, then add details. Takes time but if the basics of your drawing are good, the rest will surely be too
-
Maybe I'll try that, I'm basically back to stick figures anyway so, what the heck!
-
Learning the basic shape structure of the human body helps a lot too. I start with the stick figure rig, add my shapes where I want them and at correct angles for each pose, then detail the hell out of everything.
-
I've never tried the "stick figure rig" but I'm pretty much back to stick figures anyway, so I'm going to give that a shot.
-
I'm starting to get like that.
-
Perfectly describes what happened to me
-
Yeah, it sucks. Especially knowing that at one point you could do better.
