Why can't I find any exotic special weapon engrams?
At this point in my game, I have found 1 special weapon in the 30-40 engrams I have received. It is very frustrating and I know my luck can't be this bad,
But almost every engram I've had has been gauntlets. Is there any ways to get more special and primary engrams? Pls help it's getting very frustrating.

No . I would suggest using legendary special weapon instead of exotics can help a bit or atleast it helped me a bit . [spoiler]also keep telling yourself that you need armor engrams to trick your luck ;)[/spoiler]
