Because they have to aim their hammers at an arch to hit targets at further distances whilst compensating for travel time. Meanwhile Golden Gun is hitscan, meaning it's instant. Last but not least, was your post sent by Internet Explorer? Golden Gun one shots every super in PvP now due to Sunbreakee being nerfed and Golden Gun getting a damage boost.

A better question is "why do blade dancers get a resistance to shadowshot when hit directly?"

It has two elements that no other super in the game has. Hit Scan 1 shot kill. Basically unlimited Range. Damage resistance would be broken on that super.

In regards to the last "update", hunters have become tedious to even use in the crucible. We are not the fastest class, we have little overall weapon advantage, and we probably have the overall worst melee/grenade combo, and not a good enough super to make up for it...period. Gunslinger versus sunbreaker...is there even a comparison? I mean seriously. We get three shots...wow. sunbreakers receive 50% armor, MORE THAN THREE HAMMERS, Free combustion, HEALTH REGENERATION ON KILLS. This is a joke. There is absolutely no argument here. Sunbreaker is overall A LOT better. Couple sunbreaker with an armamentarium...now you have two sticky grenades with ridiculous aim assist plus a great exotic piece granting +special or +heavy. I'm not done, couple that with near max armor if not max, PLUS you are the fastest class in the game via titan skate. How on earth can titans sit back and think this is fair? Gunslinger exotic choice should really be either bones of eao or ahamkara spine. If anyone else is using something different I'd be interested to hear. The argument that tripmines are good is ridiculous...Fusion grenades are 100% more cheap and annoying AND ONE SHOT. Currently, NO GUNSLINGER GRENADES are on par with warlock or titan. Scatter grenades are insanely good, axion is ridiculously good, lightening grenades are ridiculously good, fusion grenades are pretty much auto stick which is unbelievable. Gunslinger melee...uhh right. Throwing knife needs a buff. How many hunters have been close quarters..went to melee, IN MELEE RANGE, and were shocked to see your character throw a throwing knife instead no where near the target. If I'm in melee range, LIKE ANY OTHER CLASS MELEE, it should be an automatic hit. Why the -blam!- is it not? This is part 1 on gunslinger. Please post your agree/disagree comments.
