Gave a group their flawless by leaving...their response...
We were invited into their party on PS4 and they begged us to leave so they could win.
We were slightly stacked. (I'm 2200 elo and my friend is 1900)
Since it was their flawless we left because we felt bad.
Then the guy who was carrying started trashing us calling us "Scrubs" for leaving.
What did I learn from this : Never help anyone in Destiny because they don't appreciate any of it.
Edit : Thanks everyone for the support. Not going to list his name since I'm not an ass.
I'm just in shock that after what we did, I'd never expect for them to sit there and insult and disrespect us.
Edit 2 : I'm not mad about the loss. Just mad at that guys response. We put trust on them and it backfired.

Wow, I would never do that. We had someone back down when they saw we were going flawless. We let the guy we were with shoot them, since he actually knew them I didn't feel right, me killing them while they just stood there. See, there are good guardians left. :)

I hear you had a group message us in year one. We killed ourselves, but in round 2 one of them tbagged. Proceeded to destroy them and listened to them complain for 5 min afterwards

I [b]REALLY[/b] want to go to the lighthouse. If I was 8-0, and you gave me a free 9-0, I would've added you on my friend list and helped you with any raid, nightfall, or poe you needed help with.

I guess they did reacted the way they did because they're under the impression that you think you're good enough to not even have them get a chance to even challenge you . Because you did it out of pity basically . But shoot give me a free win like that and it would be appreciated .

Now I can laugh at Kevin Love because he'll never get flawless. PM me your address so I can send you $10,000.00 each." Lol you never no but seriously you can make someone's weekend so much better by hookin it up with a free victory at the end. Especially someone who has never been glorified at the lighthouse.

Edited by rusty pinecone: 7/4/2016 6:38:13 AMMy most recent flawless (only flawless in y2) was from similar circumstances. Except, they played it out till both teams were 4-4. We used all our supers to equalise it at 4 all, so we immediately thought we were screwed... Then suddenly; "(insert psn names here) is down" X 3. They all jumped off the edge to give us our trip to the lighthouse. I instantly messaged one of them thanking them, and crediting them for being some of the minority in the Destiny community. If I ever face these guys/girls again I'd probably just sit down and let them kill me in hopes I could even slightly repay some sort of favour. Hopefully your kindness spreads and we start hearing more stories similar to yours and my own. Even if the lucky people are ungrateful, still spread the love people!
