This season feels the most drawn out so far but this episode makes up for it, if the finale is just as good then it'll definitely make up for all the slow scenes.
We also have our conflict for probably the next season/episode. Sansa has some serious issues now, Ramsey was right when he said a little part of him will be with her forever (the fact that Ramsey didn't get a normal Stark execution, and her smiling as she walked away. Real menacing). And of course Littlefinger has an army while Jon's got almost entirely killed so we've got that issue.
Hopefully the high sparrow situation ends the season just as good but it'll be hard to top last night.

I don't see that happening with Sansa. This was the closure she needed and that would destroy her character arch. The whole point of killing him (especially after he said she couldn't) was that she refused to let him have a hold on him and to suffer. She moved on.

She's let both Ramsey and Littlefinger get to her. Why didn't she warn Jon that she asked for reinforcements? Why did she happily watch dogs tear Ramsey apart and leave not with a face of closure, but pure enjoyment? I think it's some heavy hints there that something isn't right..especially since they included that final Ramsey line of him leaving his mark. That certainly wasn't the end of Ramsey's influence.

She didn't let either of them get to her. She used both of them. Her character arch is to be the best player of the "game". Why didn't she tell Jon? I'm not sure. My main guess is that she's still damaged but also knew her request might not happen. As for the smile, that's a smile of victory. Sure, it's sadistic, but it's well earned. She just killed her rapist torturer.

If you say so. She flat out lied to Jon and then killed Ramsey in a very Ramsey-like fashion. Maybe the battle has your hopes up, but there's no way this is ending well. Honestly I'm calling her death next season, there's no way she gets out of this new internal conflict with Jon, Ramsey, and Littlefinger.

I see Little Finger trying to use her, but I don't see her dying. Her arch isn't over yet.
