What a lot of people fail to realize is the current gens will be in the same position when the next gens come out in 5-7 years. Then we will be hearing the same thing all over again. Electronics need to constantly replaced. I doubt many people are still walking around with ten year old cell phones, which most of today's phones are double the price of the PS4 or XBox one.

  • I just feel that since Bungie made Destiny 1 for both generations from the start they should have kept it for both generations until the end of Destiny 1's life cycle. Why start something with the intention of cutting support later down the line? If Bungie waited until Destiny 2 was to be released then there would be little to no reason for complaint.

  • Knowing this community there would still be complaints if the legacy gens were dropped in year five.

  • Oh almost definitely. The point of my post and probably one of the main issues for last gen players is that Bungie started Destiny with last gen support and before the game ends it's life cycle they drop support leaving players to either abandon the game or spend a ridiculous amount of money buying the game and all it's DLC again as well as a new console.
