Can't forgive them ruining the ending. That pause in the music cue takes all the umph out of it

Why the -blam!- is 343 Incompetencies so hell bent on throwing in their own music and sound effects in the game? Nobody asked or wanted that. Modifying or replacing Marty O'Donnell's music is messing with perfection, and some modified sound effects just sound completely wrong. Well I guess that is 343 for you, got to apply Murphy's Law to them since they can't stick with what has worked.

How did they change it? Sorry I didn't play the original

Edited by Kone19ps: 6/7/2016 12:50:54 PMYou can YouTube it. Originally when chief says sir finishing this fight the music cues immediately. I used to use it on my iPod to psych myself up for sports. In the mcc they added a pause and it makes the whole thing fall flat.

Ah. I can see how that'd ruin the triumphic feeling there. And I can kinda see what your talking about since my first thought when he said that wasnt "oh this is badass wasn't that halo 3's tagline what's coming next" but instead was "um....okay this isn't halo 3 yet are we gonna finish the fight again?" Lol

That's way better

Edited by Kone19ps: 6/7/2016 1:10:22 PMFinish the fight is also one of my favorite parts of the soundtrack. Finishing halo 3 with 4 people on ghosts thoroughly engrained it into my brain. I just don't understand why they changed it and while I love breaking Benjamin it wasn't quite as good. Took me by surprise when it first started playing and the badassery needed to set in

Breaking Benjamin is in halo? Maybe I'm speaking too early but this sounds like perfection lol

I don't remember if the actual words play in game but it's on high charity in the room where the arbiter gets his armor. It triggered when you scope in. It's call Blow Me Away.
-
Ah I see.
-
Yes Same room arby gets his armour in but only when you are chief going through it the hunters and elites come out and fight.

Ooooh I knew that guitar sounded familiar
