DS3 how to beat tree with ballsack?
What's his weakness or does he just have an absurd amount of health?

2 RepliesWas expecting to find a strange, new strategy for beating the tree boss using my ballsack.

In his second stage there are more balls on his feet and hands you should strike after he tries to t-bag you.

Cut his balls. After a good few swings, they explode dealing massive damage and stunning him. When stunned, repeat for all other areas you can. Pop the middle ballsack last and transport to phase 2. Repeat process. Get easy souls.

Hit his herpes areas if you don't know where they are just go around him and scan for horribly mutated herpes

Edited by Trestero: 5/31/2016 2:38:40 PMWhen you pop a spore, it does a big burst of damage to him. Pop his nuts, wait out the slam and then rush in as close as you can. When you fall you'll land right next to his nutsack as it regenerates, and you can do anywhere between half of its health and popping it before the third arm is even active. Then go for the hand/foot and if you can aim into it the one on one of his thighs. Saves a lot of trouble you might have with clearing off that last little bit of HP.

Edited by I Love Mai Waifu: 5/31/2016 1:01:40 PMHe's not that hard. Just dodge his attacks and hit the bulges on his arms and legs. Once he takes enough damage he'll fall through the floor with you and you'll need to dodge the hand he sprouts. This hand is also a weak point, so go after that and it's ballsack. There's no foolproof way to beat it. Just go for the weak spots and dodge it's attacks. I believe he's weak to fire as well, so if you give your weapon fire damage or use pyromancy that could help. The easiest way to beat any boss is to learn its attacks and take advantage of any openings you find. He has a lot of health, but when you take out his sacks he'll lose a good chunk of health.

I couldn't help reading that like you planned on beating the tree to death with your own scrotum. Anyways, I beat him by aggressively stabbing the main sack until it bursts for the first time. After you fall down I did all the smaller ones around his arms and legs, and then finishing off with the third hand. If that doesn't work and you get frustrated, I could help you if you're on Xbox one. Good luck!

Hit the spores until they explode. There's a few other weak spores on his arms/legs/back, and popping those will do large amounts of damage: in his second phase hitting the arm will do a lot of damage, as well.

The boss is actually quite easy. Simply strike the pods on his body until he dies a horrible death.

Those sacks will appear on his stomach, back, hands and legs. Hitting them with thrust attacks is what I did.

Destroy the stomach sack, back sack, hand sack, arm sack, leg sack and finally stomach sack again. Super easy fight.

He has a lot of balls scattered around himself and you have to kill all of them

He has a bunch of ballsacks all over his body that you have to break. [spoiler]the first time I fought him, I just hacked away at his hand for 10 minutes. [/spoiler]

He has a bunch of herpes all over his body. Hit them a few times and they'll explode, dealing massive damage to the Greatwood. Be ready for phase two after exploding the first herpe ;)

Destroy the ones on his left hand, the one under his right thigh and the one on his left foot I believe. Then obviously the big one in the middle and he should be dead. May need to whack his hand a couple times.
