Having the "Glowhoo" shader on you is actually a pre-requisite of acquiring the crux, i do believe that you can have it just in your inventory, but i had it equipped when i got the crux so good luck with that

its not, but when looked it up, even planet destiny had a article saying you gotta have the glowhoo

The loot system now (at TDB's release) tracks certain drops you've had in the past, as long as you've received Glowhoo, The Crux is in the loot table. It doesn't matter whether you've got it on you or not, just that it has dropped in the past already.

fair enough, i just assumed it was the case, since i only got it once i put glowhoo on. every other run i had i didnt have it, and like magic, i put it on and boom crux, so yeah :P [spoiler]who knew rng was so precise to fk with me ;-;[/spoiler]

alright, well i think you might be having very bad luck because i got my crux recently, and it was the first time i equipped glowhoo too.
