Hate mail for speed running in heroic strikes
So I was running through some heroic strikes today. I was running past all the useless enemies so that we could speed through it. I got to the boss and wiped to bring the other two forward. They proceeded to send me hate mail calling me a coward and unskilled for running past useless enemies.
Since when has speed running become unskilled

For the people saying I think my way is the only way to run strikes, you're wrong. I don't believe that. I understand people run it different ways. I'm simply stating that it's sad that people think speed running makes you unskilled at this game and send hate mail over it

I admit, it was kind of inconsiderate of me to pull them forward, but at the time I had soloed half the strike and just wanted to finish it finally. When I go into match making, I don't expect people to do things exactly my way. It's every man for himself. If someone kept killing ads at boss or kept dying at boss, I wouldn't send hate mail over it. It's my risk for using match making. My point is stop expecting thing to go your way of you use match making, and don't send hate mail for it, because you chose to use match making

Wow so much salt for speed running. I bet half of you are taken tots. Would have liked to see you try grinding strikes in HoW. You would have been screwed. Everyone was speed running trying to get a dry rot or a hopscotch pilgrim

Unless the people are completely new and have never done it before, then I'm running past the useless ones. If they don't follow, then I'll clear out the other ads along the way for them, I never pull them to me unless I know they are trying to keep up but can't.

I wait to see what the other guys are wanting to do before I rush off. I prefer to speed through it. But if the other 2 are killing adds I just assume they have some bounty and play along at their speed. I usually only get marks at the end anyway and maybe a legendary engram

1 ReplyProbably because People like me who try to get bounties done while doing strikes. On the rare occasion we need a random it is quite annoying when someone is rushing through. Lol if they rush through the strike and keep dying we do nothing to help.

7 RepliesI never speed run. If I see people doing that in Heroic Strikes, I shoot the boss a couple times and hide, wait till you die, and tbag your ghost till im killed. I'll cause us to wipe so many times, you'll end up leaving. Play the whole strike or don't play at all.

Good for you. I wish my randoms were like you. It's a race to loot. I'm not playing the strike for the 1,000th time for practice. Whoever gets to the end first and has the least kills, wins.

Honestly i do hate it when people do that. I understand why and all but I never message them for any reason. Mainly when i run strikes i watch the other two and try to keep pace. I do sometimes for easy kills if I'm needing ammo but that's it. Sorry you got the hate message.
