Wear all dicipline and strength gear and have a Helmet that does more super energy gained from non-guardian kills. It only helps during combat of course and not while your sitting still. Try it out. The super charge rate builds the same as if you had all intellect dicipline gear on. I've been doing this since launch day of destiny and found that no 1 I have ever told this to has realized it. Most people go for intellect dicipline gear, but having your melee and grenade always ready is vital in some situations. For warlocks with flame shield especially. Wearing this gear will be exactly the same as having tier 5 intellect, dicipline, and strength. I've tried all intellect and dicipline and the only difference i found was i never have a melee charge. Try it. You'll find that your guardian will be more beastly than it ever has been.

Good info. I usually rock max disc/intellect and keep claws handy. Usually don't need more than 2 melee every 50 seconds so works for me.

3 RepliesEdited by TrulyDontCare: 5/27/2016 5:31:42 PMThat's pretty much what I do. I'm usually at 3/4/4, though. 4 discipline and strength seems to work out just right (I usually have gauntlets that give a faster melee charge too). In PvP, I definitely concentrate on strength and discipline. I generally use Nightstlker, so focusing on those abilities is definitely the better way to go.

4 RepliesI prefer the helmet perk that gives bonus super energy on grenade kills, as that also works in PVP, and in PVE can charge your super very quickly, as a scatter grenade spamming void walker with nothing manacles on.

2 RepliesGood suggestion. You can also run full int/dis and Monte Carlo in pvp/pve to achieve the same.

6 RepliesThe only problem with low intellect is that the orbs you generate don't give your teammates much super energy. If for instance you're a nightstalker, that'd be bad in terms of pve.

Thanks for the tip man I usually run max discipline strength and bad juju (if casual pve) which is essentially the same but never thought about the helmet idea
