How do I defeat Iundex Gundyr as a sorcerer?
I have a Knight already and it was easy to get past Iundex Gundyr, but so decided to make a sorcerer and now I am stuck on him. I've tried using the sword, I've tried keeping distance and using soul arrow, but nothing seems to work. How do I do this?

Hit him with the sword, dodge towards him and straight through his attacks.

Edited by weirdboy99: 5/19/2016 6:00:18 AMWell, if you want to play sorc its best to start as a pyro, same if you want a faith build. Its doable though but both the sorc and cleric have very shitty starting gear and pyro still had decent int and faith while also starting with a better weapon and shield and it takes little effort to change him to a magic and faith build. But if you really want it then to make the best use of the mailbreaker is to parry and ripost him, it has good crit damage but little else. Oh and use firebombs in his second phase.

By getting good. Jk, I haven't started as a sorcerer yet. On my second play through I beat him without breaking a sweat with the mercenary.

I defeated Iundex on the first try. All it requires is proper management of estus, knowing when to block or dodge, and knowing when to hit. He's not a hard boss, but that second form will catch you off guard if you're not ready for it.

Attack with sword and dodge be patient since hes pattern of attacks are kinda predictable amd when he hits second phase just stay behind him but be careful of his jump just role and boom you're done

I killed him with the dagger, no magic. Stick to his right on phase 1 Stick to his left on phase 2 and when he jumps, just roll to the left once, wait still he lands, and spam the dagger again. Wasn't the fastest method, but oh well
