I want to have fun and use some weapons that aren't in the meta. It's hard to have a laid back game when everyone you run into is playing at their best the whole damn time. Why can't they make a playlist that's ranked or something like that? They could implement all their crappy SBMM there instead.

Typical whining tryhard. None of us casuals want anything to do with you. Stop being so entitled. If Bungie eliminates skill based matchmaking entirely that will make the game unplayable for everyone but the top ten percenters. With 90% of the player base gone lag will be even worse.

SBMM is what prevents your matches from being complete washouts or worse mercy ruled. Use your brain maybe a little bit

This game is no longer FUN. Yes a GAME should be FUN, why would anyone play a game that makes them angry and rage hard all the time? I remembered playing a game when it first came out and it was FUN. Now the FUN aspect of the game no longer exist, especially with PVP. Trials used to be fun, now it's lighthouse or bust (complete failure). I used to have fun in regular crucible, but between the lag killing me before I even see the enemy who shot me with a sniper on my screen (bc he's halfway across the world btw) and skilled based matchmaking making every game so damn sweaty and hard to win, the game has started to feel like a CHORE. I won't be paying any more money for new DLCs for a chore, and I won't be buying any sequels to this title bc it too will be nothing more than a chore. Bungie, if you truly now anything about your loyal fans, is they haven't given you every opportunity to win them back and they have stayed loyal since beta. But this is seriously the last straw for me and many of my friends from vanilla destiny. We NO LONGER ENJOY playing your game. Sure you can throw these stupid treasure boxes to make us play one game mode but take that away, and no one will be playing your stupid daily/weekly crucible events bc no one truly enjoys playing them. It more about sticking out the 12 mins of hell just to get one damn treasure box. Your game has not been fun since December, when you nerf Sunbreakers into the ground. And how do you nerf warlocks btw? You nerf them BY ACTUALLY BUFFing them! How does that make any sense?? As a Titan main, I take that as a middle finger and a slap across the face. Even streamers who make money playing your damn game are not having fun playing your game now. Realkraftyy makes his living doing double carries people to the Lighthouse. He hasn't been able to accomplish that feat regularly bc of your damn SBMM system. I'm down with destiny after this month and doing something less rage inducing, like practicing MMA bc even that is more enjoyable than this lousy game. I hope Activision sees how not enjoyable this game is and makes a change soon bc for a 10 year plan, the first 2 years have been lousy

Remove SBMM!!!!!!!

There is nothing wrong with sbmm as long as connection quality is taken into account as well. That is the system that bungie uses and it works fine for me. I see much less lag and red bars in the crucible now so it must be working.
