Exotic engram light level
Up until lately I accepted that RNG determined light level of exotic engrams, however, I recently noticed that existing higher light level of your guardian may result in a lower light level exotic.
I've been farming exotics with 3OC on a Hunter and a Titan. The Hunter was level 334 and exotics were decrypting at 334. The Titan was level 333 and exotics were decrypting at 335. Yesterday I raised the level on my Titan to 334 and now exotics are decrypting at 334 like the Hunter.
Is this a known issue?

1 ReplyNo issues/glitches. The game will "attempt" to drop gear at a higher light level. Everyone has found though that when you are 334 or 335, you will get drops at both 334 and 335 light.
