Getting hate mail for using defender with no back up plans
I spawn into a rumble match
The leader has 1200
So I start the match off with a 11kill streak
End the match 22-3 and won
I get 2 messages
1 just keeps sending me mail saying shotgun gay
The other was complaining about
Specifically the over shield and that no back up plans give are broken. And then begins to tell me to get some gun skill because I only use the universal remote as my primary. And then he describe it "stupid like your mom"
I was laughing my ass off the salt was real with him
The day when no back up plans/defender build gets hate mail... Did not think it was possible
How about just learn to counter it? Don't let me get close? Don't come into my bubble without super?
Seriously when did no back up plans and defender because hate mail worthy. You just got outplay!

Edit 2: the guy that kept sending me messages saying "gay shotgun" was in fire team of 3. All using last word/snipe hahahahaha 😁😁😁

Edit 4: for people wanting to know the exact build of this
Use unbreakable/relentless/armor of light, and the last perk tree it's the top one (reduces cool down of ward of dawn) also gives more armor
And use max armor to get most out of force barrier
And I have a 5/1/5. Intel dis str build
That way you get your melee charge by time the over shield is done
Edit 5: some of you were wondering about my fusion. It's a give take equation. Also on my YouTube channel (it's very small) I have some fusion rifle footage! 7 RepliesYou weren't getting hate cuz u were a defender with no backup plans, you were getting hate cuz you were using a shotgun, and shotguns require very little skill to use, except the chaperone

1 ReplyOnce upon a time my no backup plans only took up vault space, but I really love the year 2 versions. The extra ability to trigger the shield now means it's a great exotic, and makes it superfun to run a shotgun wielding defender, as long as I actually get a hold of ammo that is. It always fills me with glee whenever I see a fellow defender in the ring, especially when they know how to use the class! And even more so when they know where and when to place a bubble to best buff the team. Keep up the good fight guardian! As for the hate mail, anyone who is even remotely good in this game gets them in bucketloads, no matter what build you run. I could go with shotgun and no backup plans, constantly spaming bubbles with gift of light, -void, iron harvest and bolt-caster, or be spaming grenades as a sunbreaker with with full discipline, fusion granades and simmering flame. Regardless someone will spam hate messages. It is rather funny that they would waste their time on something so silly.

Edited by Passionate_Thug: 5/5/2016 9:01:44 PMI wiped a team in Trials with that build after i heard the dreaded words LAST GUARDIAN STANDING i saved the footy but just never deemed it amazing enough to post but with the weak movies i have seen and horrible montages i think it's time i go through the archives and make montages fun again, take that and a 5 man tripmine toss into zone C on rusted lands from the spawn point and it could get a few likes.

Smart combo but I have a party crasher with rangefinder and high range but the universal remote seems to out range me quiet often lately. Personally always hated the living shit out of universal remote and really don't give out respect for using it as its a work around for the special ammo reduction and you literally don't run out with it. But this is just my opinion. If personably love to see universal remote be bumped to a special weapon but mimic the matador, party crasher, felwinters lie archetype and keep its perks.

I rarely play Crucible and last time I played I got hate for "Playing like a puss" and running away too much. Getting 1st means getting hate I guess. You're playing smart using two exotics that go together, screw what they say and just laugh at their stupidity.
