Getting hate mail for using defender with no back up plans
I spawn into a rumble match
The leader has 1200
So I start the match off with a 11kill streak
End the match 22-3 and won
I get 2 messages
1 just keeps sending me mail saying shotgun gay
The other was complaining about
Specifically the over shield and that no back up plans give are broken. And then begins to tell me to get some gun skill because I only use the universal remote as my primary. And then he describe it "stupid like your mom"
I was laughing my ass off the salt was real with him
The day when no back up plans/defender build gets hate mail... Did not think it was possible
How about just learn to counter it? Don't let me get close? Don't come into my bubble without super?
Seriously when did no back up plans and defender because hate mail worthy. You just got outplay!

Edit 2: the guy that kept sending me messages saying "gay shotgun" was in fire team of 3. All using last word/snipe hahahahaha 😁😁😁

Edit 4: for people wanting to know the exact build of this
Use unbreakable/relentless/armor of light, and the last perk tree it's the top one (reduces cool down of ward of dawn) also gives more armor
And use max armor to get most out of force barrier
And I have a 5/1/5. Intel dis str build
That way you get your melee charge by time the over shield is done
Edit 5: some of you were wondering about my fusion. It's a give take equation. Also on my YouTube channel (it's very small) I have some fusion rifle footage! 2 RepliesI get hate mail for using mostly but melee & grenades on a Sunsinger. And I don't even run with Firebolts. 2 fusion grenades & 2 melee charges (Claws) with Max Discipline & Strength. With the nerf to Flameshield, the overshield is almost useless now though, so I've recently began using Sunbreakers & Solar grenades instead. I feel like not many other people run this build, which is probably why I get hate for it. I often use Tlaloc with it as well, and don't even use my super the whole match. Maybe that's the reason I get hate for it. But they've nerfed Radiance so many times now that I prefer this build. But people will find anything to hate on.

81 RepliesNo backup plans are stupid, they're too tanky for having the ability activated on a shotgun kill. It is pretty nooby as a class build, Titan skating makes shotguns even easier to use.

Universal Remote is my bae. Loved it in year 1. My sniping skills have improved since then and use almost nothing else but UR and Defiance for PvP. Iron banner was great and I'm thoroughly enjoying inferno clash this week. Pantheon is especially fun when flanking the hardscopers on either side of B. Easy 3 to 4 kills everytime.

3 RepliesNever understood this....if you see a bubble and you don't have a super.....go the other way! The biggest downside to the Titan bubble is it isn't mobile....if a Titan pops a bubble and no one goes near does he still get a kill? NO !!! and for the rest of the field you have the advantage because the other team is short a man or two because they are hanging out in the bubble. Grenades may be the only exception to this....I've killed alot of Titans in their own bubble with the right grenade.

I got hate mail running Striker during Iron Banner when some guy on the other team couldn't handle my Armamentarium/ Lightning Grenade/ high Discipline setup combined with Hard Light and Patch-A. The messed-up thing is that I was about 2nd place on a team of randoms, and he was in a fire team of 3, all losing badly. They should have been mopping the floor with my "team" if they had any idea of teamwork whatsoever.

I don't have a problem with people using it but it is extremely annoying to be fighting someone who always has an overshield.
