stop running through the whole strike
Getting sick of ppl just running through heroic strikes yeah I know u want get them done quick as possible but when u keep dying trying to catch up or run with them its so annoying. I don't do them anymore they r not enjoyable.

I will always use speed run methods, especially on the taken version of The Undying Mind. So much faster.

4 RepliesReading this thread it seems like the general opinion is people run through to kill the boss and get it over with. Get the strikes done ASAP. Strikes - speed run them Story - speed run it Raid - need max XXX and light level 335 for quick run Why the rush? What happened to just chilling out and playing a game? Does it REALLY matter if you get your vanguard rep and an exotic 7 mins faster? Let's be honest, strikes take no time at all anyway. If you're using a booster would it not be better to do bounties over strikes anyway?

For me getting loot is enjoyable, I think it's more fun if I get more loot faster, so I rush the strikes (or parts of strikes) I can rush through. There's no official manual or law about how strikes should be played, so don't go around telling people how to play them, it's their choice or their playstyle. If you have a problem with that, you still have some options in my opinion; - Just leave them. - Go through the strike in your own pace till the game teleports you towards your rushing teammate(s) at the bossfight. - Just don't play them at all. - Get a fireteam (friends or lfg) that plays the way you play. If it's fun for you to cry out on the forums, please do so, but don't expect me to change my playstyle for it, cause it's how I have fun.

Other than strike specific gear, strikes are useless now anyways. I haven't gotten anything useful from a strike in a long time. Can't even get anything for infusion.

It's the vanguard rep boosters. You only got two hours With them so now everyone speed runs. Blame Bungie for continuously ruining the game.

2 RepliesI feel you bro, if I see someone rush. I leave immediately because most of the time they die. Everyone is entitled to play how they want to play, but personally if I play a shooter is to shoot if I want to speed thru a level, I play sonic the hedgehog.

Trust me, if you have done as much strikes as i have you would speed run too. And then think about the fact that my numbers arent even that crazy compared to others.

Most people who rush through the whole strike end up dying alot. The good players know when to rush, and when to clear out the enemies.

2 RepliesNope nope nope - I'll continue to run through. I'm only doing it for loot and vanguard rep.... Oh and trying to get winters run which seems near bloody impossible these days. Have only done it once in the last 20 or so strikes!

2 RepliesI kill everything, the only part of a strike I'll ever run through is the part of the Malok strike right before the shrine. The amount of blights and enemies are a bunch of NOPE.

Yeah I agree Stand and fight guy's, kill everything - make the strike last the distance! Makes getting a 286 purple pair of boots so much sweeter!

I let them try to run through everything and die. I'm in this for engrams, specifically Sublime Engrams, which I'm pretty sure only drop from enemies.
