I stopped being a bitch and put down my Dragonslayer Greataxe for a smaller lighter weapon. I decided I didn't wanna 2 shot people every time but to my realization, everyone picks these giant weapons that really don't take skill. I don't know if I can win against someone that 2 shots me but is still incredibly quick compared to my 5 or 6 shot on people. I have no hyper armor and I can't hit them out of their attacks and if I dodge their attack I don't have time for hits because every weapon is fast. Just my little rant...

Try using the Great Corvian Scythe in PvP. It's slow, doesn't offer super-armor, and doesn't deal particularly crazy damage. The only good is its reach. cx

Yup. Pvp just needs some balancing and covenant changes.

1-Get my spear. 2-Poke shit to death. 3-.tiforP

estoc, more like estGOD

3 RepliesNo weapon class inherintly takes skill. The heavy hitters will 3 shot, the thrusting swords are nothing but R1 spam, and katanas are R1 spam/phantom range thrust bullshit.

1 ReplyEdited by Sapid: 5/5/2016 6:05:14 PMSounds like you can't adapt and were using hyper armor to trade against people who didn't understand PvP hyper armor or couldn't predict you well enough. Play against better opponents and they'll destroy any heavy weapon user with a dark sword or Estoc (or a parry). You don't trade against heavy weapons with lighter weapons, you poke the other person until they die or kill them with the OP r1 spam if they mess up. Super easy. There is no poise in this game, you need to use mobility. But yes, it is a very different play style to what you are used to. Dragonslayer great axe is a great example of a weapon with openings, you just can't get greedy. Go for backstabs All in all, you think heavy weapons are cheap because you are good at them. Master straight swords and you'll see they are super strong and much more viable.

5 RepliesEstoc or rapier >:) will kill all in the stun.

1 ReplyYou got it backwards m8. Light r1 spam weapons take no skill, not heavy weapons
-
2 RepliesWait a minute... Ds3 pvp complaint? Lol k

5 RepliesTry a katana
-
2 RepliesLight weapons are easily better than heavy weapons, and will stay that way until from decides to turn poise on (if they do)
-
14 RepliesNo poise. Your argument for or against huge, slow weapons is invalid as they will always be outclassed by lighter, quicker weapons as long as this keeps up. Sympathy=none
-
4 RepliesUse the onikiri and ubadachi. 2 l1s and an r1 combo usually puts people down. Atleast for me. Quality build.

7 RepliesJoke topic?

1 ReplyI hate when I invade in PvP see the Blue shield Icon and the Phantom is using a Ultra weapon. I don't think it's that scrubby mind you but it just means I have to be that much more careful around them.
-
2 RepliesI can't get into it because it's laggy & too much phantom range bullshit. However it's at least not quite as bad as Bloodborn where I've been backstabbed while I WAS BEHIND THE ENEMY.
