ya but you keep getting the exotic you dont need to reach 335 if he sold a exotic shards if you need that one piece like helmet or chest i would be 335 now. i dont buy exotic shards for the exotics but for the high light to infuse into my gear. i need a 335 chest and helmet. i keep getting special weapons on my exotics. id use xur for a definite high light helmet and chest piece. thats the real reason people want xur to sell shards for 335 exotics to infuse.

Not sure I understand, since TTK the shards are not useful for anything without the higher light level piece of gear to infuse as well. And once you hit 335 if you use 3oC for every strike/match etc you get so many duplicates and exotics at light level 334 that are not useful to you so are essentially shards. I guess I'm sitting on 100+ right now. You'll have a harder time finding the weapon/armor piece to use to infuse than the shard you need to go along with it. But worst case if you actually did run out as someone has noted you can buy an exotic weapon from the kiosk, put XP all nodes with motes then shard it for two shards. one shard to buy it, two shards out when you dismantle it , one shard profit for each time you do that, repeat for as long as you have glimmer, patience and a need for shards. True being able to buy them for 2500 glimmer and 5 motes of light might save a little time, but frankly you're better to just stock up on 3oC, use them all the time and soon you'll have more shards than you know what to do with.
