Wtf is this? I'm being punished for not wanting to put up with assholes and trolls or I simply have something I need to go do during my match? Wtf Microsoft? This is bullshit and not a pointless way to enforce whatever Microsoft is wanting to enforce. I've never had issues in any other multiplayer games before with tons of people leaving so why implement this? It's frustrating as -blam!-

5 RepliesEdited by Brotheon, Bodular Mind: 4/23/2016 7:57:49 PMIt's cause they don't have join in progress matches besides warzone So if you're in a 4v4 slayer game and one guy bails you're playing with a man down the entire rest of the match

1 ReplyEver noticed that the "victims" of such bans never do anything wrong?

Edited by Sentinel Dan: 4/23/2016 9:54:46 PMIt deters people from Leaving the moment they start loosing. Which is a big problem

I actually praise Bungie for that multiplayer decision. Then they completely shit on that in Destiny.

7 RepliesYou don't join Halo Mid game so leaving hurts your team so it has to hurt the quitter to.
-
They don't want quitters. If you join and you aren't doing well then quit, that's what they are trying to stop. If you get in a match with assholes then quit but don't do it repeatedly. If you get consistently in matches full of assholes mute your them, report them and move on.

I haven't played Halo in a couple days so I decided to try the fiesta game mode in Arena. Fun right? Cool. So I play a few games and all I fine until for whatever reason I get kicked out of the game because my little sister accidentally signed into my account in the Xbox upstairs. No big deal, it was a mistake, I'll just hop back on and play again. Nope. Banned.

2 RepliesFirst off you're not banned for very long so if you had to go do something chances are you'd be able to play as soon as you got back. Secondly, it's annoying as hell especially in arena where wins matter and some dick decides to leave your team. This isn't call of duty, losing a teammate matters much more. It also keeps most people from quitting just because they're losing or dying a lot. They want people to suck it up and admit defeat and not quit because they suck. I've seen this time and time again in games like call of duty where people can't get easy kills so they leave and find easier players to make themselves feel better. Personally I've never been banned once in my history of Halo. I've quit games here and there though. I'm pretty sure the more you quit the easier it is to get banned, but I've heard you only get banned for 10 minutes or so even if it does happen. Doesn't seem like a big deal to me.

Because you quitted to much matches
-
Personally, I prefer the credit jackpot system that was introduced in Reach.
-
I've been banned for 1hr and a half on arena pre-no team killing in swat update
-
No idea. It was a bad idea when done in reach, and it's still a bad idea when 343 decided to do it in halo 5.
-
2 RepliesHonestly if you quit that's entirely on you. I play with bad teammates in every game, but i don't quit cause not finishing is worse than losing And if you have to do something else all the time then don't go online. Plain and simple.

It's been a halo thing
