How are Med ROF Pulse rifles fairing in the developing meta?
The Hawksaw and PDX-45 pulse rifles are still quite potent, but I've only been killed by a Nirwens Mercy I think twice so far.
I have a decent roll on a Lyudmila-D but I'm hesitant to run it considering how good my PDX is by comparison.
Between the two, despite the damage changes, does anyone know if the high ROF pulses still out DPS the slower ones?
If not, what would you recommend for a roll on rifles like the Lyudmila-D?
One of the best rolls I can think of is as follows
Head seeker, counter balance, hand laid sticker braced frame

I have bad perks on my new spare change but it hits hard I'm keeping it until I get a better roll.

5 RepliesSlower the rof. The less lenient they are. Pretty much goes for all weapons. That's part of why hawksaw is so good. That said optimal time to kill requires more headshots with hawksaw. Also slower rof means more Range. Lot of pvp maps don't have huge range Fast rof pulse /fast rof auto (even after nerf) are generally superior. That hasn't changed. Handcannons and scouts depend a little more. Like scouts have much faster crit ttk with slower rof but much slower body shot ttk. Its say the slower the fire rate the less effective the primary is in close range but the more rewarding the precision ttk is.
