TAKEN ARCHON PRIEST STRIKE NEVER DROPPING PLEASE VIEW
[b]The Issue:[/b]
The Taken Archon Priest (Winter's Run) strike is not dropping for me and a lot of my friends in the weekly heroic playlist. I have gotten the Winter's Run strike many times, but it was not the Taken version. Out of the 100 strikes my fireteam and I have quickly backed out of, maybe about [b]5[/b] of them were Taken Winter's Run. And after about 10 hours worth of trying to find the strike, we completed the said 5 strikes and none of us were able to obtain the shotgun. The strike itself is extremely difficult, even as a 334 Warlock.
[b]Questions:[/b]
1. Has anyone gotten the strike more than I have?
2. How is the shotgun and is it worth the excruciating pain of grinding?
3. Why isn't there a version I can choose on Venus?
4. How rare is the shotgun and does anyone know the percentage of dropping it?
5. Will Bungie fix this issue?

EDIT: I have discovered that whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars.

I wouldn't f***ing count on Bungie to fix s**t. I've been trying to run this Strike SINCE THE F***ING UPDATE DROPPED. Out of the 50+ Strikes I've actually run, not counting the 50 extra I've simply backed out of...I've run the Strike maybe 6, 7 times. Absolute. F***ing. Joke.

I know what you mean - since the Blighted Chalice strike came you can't get rid of him... Try to do Archon taken strike and he never pops up.

I've probably completed about 40-50 vanguard heroic strikes (completing each, not just backing out) since the new expansion released and I have only received Taken Archon Priest once. What's the point of creating new content if you don't share it with your players?

It rolled with full auto, though, so it was absolutely worth it. [spoiler]It doesn't look like you've helped a settlement recently. Here, let me mark one on your map.[/spoiler]

I think this is why so many players are quitting at the spawn for the other strikes. I've stopped playing the strikes until Bungie makes it appear more often or puts it on the map.

I did the strike once on my Warlock and the shotgun dropped first time. No used it yet, it's currently sitting in my vault.

The strike came up for me around 10 strikes in. Did it as a 316. Shotgun dropped. It's O..K...

Just wait for the nightfall and hope there are some burns. I want the shotgun also, but want to grind POE instead.

Its basicly a taken dry rot Not bad but the chance to fight the guy that drops it is super rare

Since the update I haven't run many in the heroic playlist but I've got: 2 Taniks 1 Omnigul 1 Normal Winters Run 2 Undying Mind 1 Valus 3 Taken Winter's Run So nearly a third. Just lucky me I guess?

They are probably gonna nerf any chance of dropping anything....bungie seems to have the nerve to continue to put out things that aren't quite done yet IMO
