well when you only play one class and only play when you need to i would expect no less than them to not understand a lot of their core mechanics that fail.....

They're casual players, they depend on the community to tell them what they need to change. They know they're just casuals too.

while a majority of the causal player base is what keeps this game alive they need to understand that the casual community was only introduced because of the veteran hardcore community. without the hardcore players playing more often or even staying with destiny they have not only lost a lot of play time but also word of mouth which is a big loss in the long run, because the casual community survives with the hardcore as a foundation without a hardcore foundation do you think a game like dark souls, Halo, or C.O.D could have even survived?

Yes, they all would've survived. Marketing and money go a long way. Not bashing casuals or hardcore players, just saying that people at Bungie play casually because every waking moment of their day is revolving around this game lol

while they would exists i don't think the reception would have been the same, destiny was dying off in popularity early on due to bad word of mouth and just plain awful choices by bungie themselves. but bungie had enticed their remaining players to invite others to play with them thus having the remaining hardcore players and some casual players do this for them thus reviving the game in a sort of way, but this was not enough this is when the emotes and other junk started coming in and the casual player base ate that shit up. now this is only a perspective some may have a different one but this is mine, i just hope bungie can see something similar before kicking the bucket.
