Run VOG, Crotas end, or PoE. Just note, the blues you get may have better attack/defense than anything from these activities.

  • Except they aren't. Ever. Perks and light are normally always worse.

You must be confused. I have a lot of blues that are over 300 light. Highest you can get from any year one raid is 170. And that is only after you use etheric light on it.

  • Not confused, all blues that drop are around lvl 26

  • What level are you? Higher level stuff doesn't drop until you level up, naturally.

  • Well, looks like you need to run a year one raid or prison of elders then. If you really want to level fast, buy taken King. All of your current gear will be obsolete by the end of the first story mission. Lol

  • Nah, I don't use money to get better gear in games. I buy extra content for the extra story missions, not really interested in paying for it this time. I've already got every possibly VoG piece of gear, working on Crota currently and PoE. I don't want the TTK. It's weird whenever you say that, people bash on you for not throwing my money at Bungie. I can buy a ton of books for a lot more hours of enjoyment with $40. In fact, I've done that, my library is enormous.

  • LMAO ok. Someone is bitter. By the way. TTK story and content is better than all of year one. It's worth the money.

  • From what I see you seem to break the norm with being over 18, not saying all this against you, just venting.

  • Nah, I'm definitely fine without it. I'm just a completionist, so I'm working on the raid and poe gear. It's just frustrating things that were available in the game that I paid for are no longer available, since you know, I already paid for them. TTK buyers tend to say things like, well yeah if you're not paying for new con- wait wait wait, let me stop you right there. I paid for original content that has been taken from my game. New content has NOTHING to do with my older content. If I jump into any MMORPG, I am restricted from content I haven't paid for, but never from what I have. Not bitter, just annoyed with the Bungie fanboys screaming, "GET TTK, GTFO, YOU'RE OBVIOUSLY POOR OR DON'T HAVE A JOB." No, just made the rational decision of a 25 year old to come home from work, kill some aliens or battle fellow guardians, work on completing a game I bought, go snuggle my lady, get some food, go have some fun, hopefully get some sleep. Sucks when a bunch of the content from that game I bought, which I've been able to get legendary engrams from since the first week, no longer offers what it did offer because I don't want to try their new shiny upgrade. That's like saying, "We're going to take away mission 3 and 7 in Halo 3 on all of your consoles because you won't buy Halo 5, and why won't you buy Halo 5, it's so awesome, GTFO!!!" I noticed almost no one on this site has been a member for 2 years, I've been here 6. Also, player base seems to mostly be >18 year olds who had their parents buy it for them, or via the allowance their parents gave them and said children don't know the value of money, or the fact that if you pay for something that degrades someone's experience, you are allowing it to happen. You know what happens if I buy TTK? The RoI comes out, not for my console. "Buy an XBONE, why wouldn't you. You're so lame!" Because no. I know how to spend my money wisely, carefully. So maybe I am bitter, I'm not bitter about TTK, I'm bitter that every player seems to think themselves on a pedestal above everyone for making what I think to be a poor purchase (regardless of content, taking away the game from people who don't pay for extra content never will sit well with me, I'd never buy it out of principle) and downgrades anyone who didn't make the same decision, because you know, that's mature and I'm annoyed half the game I paid for isn't there anymore and won't be anymore for all the people who DID pay for TTK once RoI comes out, all activities are being taken to XBONE, 360 is being left behind, no iron banner, trials, pretty frustrating. But, you know, I'm stupid for not buying TTK.
