3 Replies1000 yard nerfed but getting LDR and longbow
-
Boring....
-
1 ReplyNerfing Mida? That just plain sucks b a l l s, why mess with a gun that has no problems? I feel like sometimes they do this unnecessary crap to piss us off
-
2 RepliesDon't remember anything about a nechrocasm nerf...
-
1 ReplySuros new meta
-
Looks like Bungie took my advice and nerfed low zoom scopes. Gg

Each stream makes me lose more interest in the game. Thanks for further ruining your own game, Bungie.

16 RepliesEdited by Sage 13: 4/6/2016 7:31:14 PMMida nerf? Why? It was perfectly average. The only reason some think it's OP is because all the other guns suck now. Before the nerfs to other guns: Top-tier guns>Mida(average-tier)>low-tier guns After nerfs to othe guns: Top-tier(Nothing here since they were nerfed)>Mida(still average, but seems OP since most guns are below it now)>Top-tier guns have moved below Mida due to nerf>low-tier guns. And the cycle will continue, since Bungie is so insistent on nerfs. Top-tier guns will become below-average, while average guns will seem OP because they're barely above the nerfed weapons. And the cycle will continue...

37 RepliesTlw, mida, and sniper nerfs were unnecessary. Tlw was the most balanced its ever been. Mida was never OP in yr 1 so how come it is now when nothing was changed. Thats because they're the only viable weapons to use to compete with. The 1k yard stare nerf was also ridiculous. There are only 3 snipers of that archetype in year 2 rn. One is a hunter exclusive, the other a gunsmith weapon. The reason everyone used the 1k yard stare was because it was the most accessible since it was a quest reward. Also, other special weapons were turned into shadows of their former selves, so people learned how to snipe which is the reason snipers were always on the killfeed. It's bungie's fault the meta was so weird. I don't understand the unnecessary nerfing.

21 Replies"We would have to rework an entire subclass to make Viking funeral less viable." Dude, what the -blam!- is talking about. JUST MAKE THE GODDAMN THING LAST SHORTER. You -blam!-ing warlocks lucked out. That's alright though, wombo combo still gonna put you in your place. As for this shithead they hired for class balancing? Fire that idiot. He clearly is just catering to the majority of trials players. What a -blam!-ing joke.

Fusion rifles ... Buffed
wait what?

I think that the balancing update is a step in the right direction. With the whole Rez shield nerf I expect to see more kinds of snipers in trials which will be fun. I'm just glad they didn't mess with amplitude...
-
I'm more pissed that they are bringing back spawning in with special for trials. What is the point of fixing the icebreaker ammo spawn cheese then?
-
Edited by Paul_vibez: 4/6/2016 11:42:15 PMI'm just glad that the nerfs on guns I cared about weren't so extreme. They nerfed ammo cap on 1k yard stare. That isn't a nerf at all And why the fuck did they nerf Nechrochasm. It's shit as it is, what's the point of making it any worse? Makes me regret the husk farming, hive kill grinding, eris morn rep grinding and crux grinding. It was NOT worth the time

10 RepliesI can see fusion rifles being the new shot guns now
-
2 RepliesReally pissed off. Fusion rifles should have been nerfed. Bullshit.
-
3 RepliesNo custom matches grrr
-
People complain about camping snipers. Nerfs the scopes of aggressive sniper users. Promotes passive play. XD
-
2 RepliesI missed the stream, but I thought this was supposed to include sandbox updates. Were there any?
-
Lol! Nothing I use was nerfed! Everything I use is buffed. Well. Gg world. Time to get dominated.
-
2 RepliesSo multi tool will no longer be a PvP power house??...
-
5 RepliesI heard exactly what I wanted to hear- low ROF pulses will reward headshots with two burst kills again! The bit about fusion rifles was unexpected. As one who uses them now, I can certainly say I'm not complaining, but I thought they were in a good enough spot already. I'd hardly like to see them become so common that they get nerfed again.

1 ReplyMaxing LL from PvP will drive people back to crucible in huge numbers. Im not a fan of PvP, I'll play it for max light.

2 RepliesNearly every change was ToO related, especially the "resurrection nerfs". On an asinine note, WTF was the purpose of denying special ammo in 3v3 modes in the first place? Seriously, lets review the process. Sniper nation ruled ToO. People flamed so special ammo was removed at match starts. Players, the ingenious hairless monkeys they are, found a work around to exploit. Okay, fine. What does Bungle do? They "fix" the exploit with Icebreaker and sidearms AND THEN PROCEED TO REINSTATE SPECIAL AMMO UPON MATCH START! I'm sorry, but what in the hell was the purpose in that??? If you intended to reinstate special ammo anyway, why bother "nerfing" special regen in the first place? Notice how Invective was ignored? It regens ammo just like Icebreaker AND it has a year two version to boot. SO AGAIN, WHAT THE FRACK WAS THE POINT!!!!!
-
I think the reason why they won't separate the nerf/buff with pvp and PVE is retarded. Weapons are so supposed be OP in PVE it's why we worked so hard for them. PVP should be a separate game mode entirely
-
11 RepliesI'm sad to see them focus so much on PVP. The ammo nerf is going to hurt the raid folks. It'll be like old times where everyone is hoarding synths.
