And a PS exclusive quest? W...t...F?! Bungie, this is getting to be excessive. Did they say if PoE has checkpoints? It sure as hell better. Oh, and I can't wait to get PoE II armor! Looking forward to the bonus damage against fallen shanks perk.

You notice it's the live team showing the poe stuff so the main development team is probably working on the next dlc and Destiny 2.

1 ReplyAm I the only one disappointed that they showed some actual new and cool gear for Warlock and Titan but just the Taken PoE gear for Hunter? We've already seen all the taken PoE gear in a picture, would've been nice if they showed some new gear for the Hunter. :(

Disappointed only one strike is updated for the heroic strikes. Also, no updates said for the nightfall (that I heard) as far as adding omnigul and archon priest. Was at least hoping they would have all of the strikes in both the heroic and nightfall playlists by now.

Destiny is a game created to pool in mass amounts of money with minimal effort or money spent during the process. Sure that's the definition of all business practice but when the company manipulates, lies and tricks the customer base is when it turns into bad business ethic. We as gamers have immense passion for the games we play and use them as more than just something to do. We play to enjoy, relax, escape or connect with family and friends. Unfortunately Bungie's original motto wasn't about creating a game they love because the people in charge simply have one goal. Money. It's shown because Investors went with a company that has NEVER created an MMO game before. If the title Destiny doesn't meet the expectations of the yearly earnings goal there won't be Destiny 3. Clearly this practice is highly frowned upon in the gaming community hence the massive backlash from Destiny's player base. If you support the way we are treated or have yet to realize the reality of the situation then go ahead and pay for the next DLC that we already paid for in silver. It's just a matter of time before the last few remaining players see this and move onto better games which I will not mention.

6 RepliesThe good things about this reveal is I don't need to do the HM KF anymore... We know it will be obsolete. I can do something else now...like doing house chores...filing tax return, I still have federal and state..that's a lot of work..:( Maybe riding my motorcycles when it is not raining (Hope they can be started after winter hibernation)..or..4x4 off roading..!!!

4 RepliesHonestly, this update is a complete letdown..I have been a Bungie fan since Halo CE, I used to dissect every single word Frankie posted on your weekly updates to get a hint of whatever you guys were working on. But this is complete BS, POE??? Seriously??? And above all of this, PS4 users are getting extra content of the little extra content??? (YES, it is a small amount of repeated content) Look, you guys really need to balance this issue out. We XBOX ONE users are paying the same amount of money as PS4 users, and we are receiving less relevant content (Xbox couldn't appreciate the Montecarlo or Hawkmoon at their finest hour). I understand that this was a business strategy approach, but I believe you guys will lose fans and users on the medium term on the xbox side. Don't forget we are your most loyal fans, we elevated this company to its current status and you are letting us down. Word of advice, you want to keep all of us (PS4 and XBOX) playing Destiny?? Do you want us out of The Division or Fallout 4?? Release a new Raid or a new planet location, let loose a difficult boss on the patrol missions and let it be bombarded by 40+ guardians...this is all it will take...no more generic rolled weapons or weapon balancing (which actually suck), no more repeated Russias or Venuses. Bring us fresh new content, it doesn't even have to be an expansion heavy content, just something new. You guys are the most talented studio ever to exist, so prove it. I will gladly pay for it. Pretty please...??

What I found most interesting was at minute 31 of the live stream when they stated that Vanguard Marks (which I assume he meant to say Legendary Marks) can be earned from PoE and no keys are required to open the big chest. I am pretty excited at the fact PoE sounds like it will be an even larger treasure trove than before. I would like to see that Legendary Marks are earned with each playthrough of lv41 PoE, but the fact he compared it to the Weekly Heroic Strikes suggests it will have a limit of 3 before cutting you off.

The only "new" thing is the blighted chalice strike, the one with malok. The hood of malok was in the database at the same time as devouring maw, grasp of malok, etc. ITS NOT A NEW STRIKE. THEY WAITED 7 MONTHS TO IMPLEMENT A STRIKE SO WE WOULD THINK ITS NEW CONTENT

If you read the stream summary Bungie released, they stated that KF Normal's rewards will be buffed all the way to 320 when the update drops.

3 RepliesWait was there something new? All I saw was the same POE just with more bosses and higher levels. Same gun models just with different paint jobs. I feel that it couldn't of taken 6 or whatever months to add about a week's worth of relevant content.
