I have zero problem with people using ice breaker in trials
I do have a problem with people getting 1hk from a 170 light weapon in the most competitive game mode in Destiny, when the people getting killed are between 317 & 320 light, in a game mode where they were trying to remove the ability to spawn with ammo.

112 RepliesSo you are wanting a nerf on Icebreaker to make it a 2 shot headshot in Light enabled gametypes? I can request that from the Sandbox team, just want to make sure that is what you are asking.

Doesn't really matter to me. If it's not year 2 it will be soon. Would rather have it in play since invective is already year 2. Just wish the ammo exploit was fixed.

Honestly, I'd much rather special ammo didn't transfer on death. That way then maybe things would become a bit more fair. Should 170 Icebreaker 1 shot? Maybe, but light should mean more in light enabled content.

1 ReplyHonestly I don't think the light level is the problem. If someone killed you with a green sniper, I don't think anyone would care. I think more people care about the ammo cheese than the 1 shot headshot.

3 RepliesYeah that kinda doesn't make much sense. Icebreaker shouldn't be able to headshot kill anything that has level advantages. What's the point of light levels or weapon damage if they almost make no difference?

It just goes to show how awesome weapons from year 1 were/are compared to year 2 garbage. But then again, Bungie has completely destroyed all weapons so who knows if they were actually good before all the damn Nerfs.

They should just shut destiny down . All it did was bring upon the world a giant cluster @@@@ of crybaby @@&@&&& (I'm censoring myself to make the monitors jobs easier) NERF NERF NERF just stfu lol it's bad enough that because of crying they won't bring ice breaker to year 2. Now you want it nerfed (again). God forbid there is an actual unique exotic in destiny. All you children want is pea shooters.

It doesn't make sense

It can't respawn kill so we got that going for us. Most people use it for the first round only because if you let it charge to 6 shots and swap it out at the end of the round you got 18 shots for your regular sniper without having to worry about not getting special throughout the match.
