People were saying that Fallout 4 and BOPS 3 were gonna kill Destiny, but they always come back. So I find it hard to believe that The Division will definitely kill Destiny.
Edit: You can play more than one game at a time? I didn't realise that...

personally fallout 4 did kill it for me

It may have not have killed him but I'm sure it hurt it

9 RepliesThia game is a fraction of what it once was. It's far from being "alive".

I'm no video game coroner, but something killed Destiny. My friends list went from a hundred people before Fallout dropped, down to *maybe* ten people, if I'm lucky, who are on at the busy hours.

You can't kill a game that already has an established community, no matter how small or large
-
You can't kill a corpse.

Edited by GundamWing14: 2/29/2016 9:44:50 PMThey didn't have too. Destiny killed its self.

R.I.P Destiny

Bungie killed it all by themselves, those games just gave people more options of games to play. I still play fallout more than this game, everyone on my friends list that used to play is on other games except for the reset for quick raid runs. With the division, hitman, dark souls, and the first fallout dlc coming out soon I doubt many people will even bother with this game.

Destiny has far less people playing everyday.

Destiny is dead?!!?!

I jumped back on for ib after a break since... a few iron banners ago. Finding an ib group used to take about 3 seconds in the recruitment forum. I found 1 group all week for this ib on the way to rank 5. Destiny may not be dead. But they player base has shrunk drastically. My very small sample size of about 100 friends that used to be on destiny nearly every day has turned into... maybe 2 or 3 that regularly play.

1 Replyonly bungie can kill destiny, and they sure are trying their hardest to do so
-
Well destiny is sure dying right now. Fallout, Siege and B03 sure did alot. I mean I've been only playing destiny now for it events. Siege and all those games made me stop liking destiny. I probably won't be playing till Destiny 2 comes out.
-
People are on the forums more than they play destiny cause destiny is a dead
-
I115 minutes to find a game of control means it's pretty dead
-
Watch your friends list, count how many are playing those games and how many are playing destiny
-
Friends list went from 110 people on every day to an average of about 15-20 back in November, still about 20 regular players today.

2 RepliesOther games don't have to kill Destiny, Bungie has slowly been doing that for the past few months on their own. I know they've recently made Desticles water at the crotch with the announcement of coming content, but it had better be good or they will burn up any remaining goodwill they have. Even the diehards are starting to get bored/leave the game and question Bungie.
-
Bungie is killing desting, and they dont seem to care at all. Those games have taken a good small chunk of the player away, but its bungie in the end thats pissing away a great game
-
1 ReplyDestiny will kill destiny. Just you wait
-
1 ReplyWell considering my friends who've been playing Destiny since the beta have yet to return from Black Ops 3, there's nothing in my mind that would suggest that the game hasn't been killed off in my experience. But i wouldnt blame the new games as much as the lack of anything new in the land of Destiny.
-
I never said these games would kill destiny. Fallout is fun though. Destiny is doing a great job of pissing people off themselves
-
3 RepliesActually the player base is at an all time low
-
Destiny is dead
