Because fatebringer was amazing in year one and imago loop is its year 2 version. It has the same stats and can get the same perks (it's missing the arc damage though). It's nowhere near what it would've been in year 1, but it's still one of the few legendary hand cannons that are still solid weapons.

Vanity is great in PvE and PvP. It can one body shot minions of the darkness (acolytes, dregs, thrall). Near headshot kill a knight and centurion. It's super good! Three headshots for crucible. I love it :)

It's a great gun. It's actually one of my most used primaries. I still don't think it's worth all the ruckus, though. There are other hand cannons that perform just as well.

It it could drop with arc burn or any burn, the forums would be flooded for fireteam farms.

I mainly use it for a build where i got reactive reload on it and I chain of woe for a quick reload

Well if you like HCs there aren't many good ones right now compared with Y1. And even without the FB perks it's a good gun! So, it doesn't deserve the hype it's getting, but it's a good gun...

Its good if you can get the og fatebringer perks. Its a nostalgia thing. Fatebringer had/has a real following. Imago with the right perks is fb 2.0 sans arc damage
