Pretty hyped, I enjoy the hell out of fighter games but not dedicated enough to do anything too competitive.

Look up Justin Wong, Gootecks on YouTube. SFV is a lot easier to get into than other fighting games like MK. It still has Learning Curve, but is a more pure fighting game.

I got into Gods Among Us, the Netherrealm Studio DC Comics fight game. It was pretty approachable. Not a big online community on PS4 tho.
-
Yeah that was a decent game offline. NRS games like Injustice and Mortal Kombat don't play great online, have a poor net-code. Lots of people drop them games, the community does be small. Street Fighter games play brilliantly online, the net-code does be excellent. This will have a huge community for years to come, it's cross platform with PC.
-
So you can play people on PC from PS4 and vice versa?
-
Yep, it's optional. That's one of the reasons SF5 didn't release on xbox. Capcom want a huge community, that's possible with cross platform.
-
But wouldn't Xbox make it even larger?
-
Yeah but Microsoft won't do cross platform.
-
Oh ok

SF4 had a big community on Xbox 360, it's a shame in a way that it's not going to be on the xb1. I know hardcore SF4 players will buy a PS4/PC for this game, because nothing comes close to the SF series.

Yeah, I get competitive about it but I'm not that good if that makes sense lol.
