I beat Norman (Hoenn's fifth gym leader) with a level 5 Taillow in my original Sapphire game

I did that using a Togetic in Heart Gold,In both situations my team had been trashed by Whitney's Miltank and Chuck?[spoiler]Johnto Fighting gym leader[/spoiler]'s pokemon.He was my last and it was looking bleak,it then proceeded to against one of the most notorious pokemon in history and [b][u]BEAT [/u][/b]it.
