• It's not for everyone. I enjoyed the game and the story and I still needed to take a break from it for several months just to beat it once. What about it are you liking/not liking?

    • I could not get into inquisition at all... I actually hated it. And it's a shame too, because I fell totally in love with Dragon Age: Origins. But yeah, imo Dragon Age 1 was phenomenal - one of the best games ever made, Dragon Age 2 was just mediocre, and inquisition was not good.

    • Do you want to get immersed into Dragon age; inquisition? Then I have 1 line of advise for you that should do just that: Go purchase and play Dragon age: origins and Dragon age 2. Origins is a masterpiece, one of the best games ever produced by bioware. Aside from the combat being dated, it has a great story, great characters, tons of quests and side quests that can drastically change the outcome of the game, hundreds of hours of content... Its worth every penny. Especially with all of the DLC. Dragon age 2 pales in comparison for the first game. The combat is improved greatly, but the dungeons are repetitive and less in the way of customization and freedom. However, you should still play the game so that you can experience the story, and see what has led up to the world becoming what it is in inquisition. You get to meet important characters with a ton of depth, and if you play the DLC you will get your proper introduction to the main antagonist of inquisition. Once you have played both of those, you will likely have a much better time getting immersed into inquisition. The only other top I can give you is to leave the Hinterlands. There is much better things out there than some low-reward fetch quests.

      • You buy the game, pop it into your system, download the patches, and boom. If you want to literally get into the game, you'll have to wait until technology advances to the point where you can zap yourself into the game as the protagonist. Lol

      • The story is the best part, sometimes you just get too bogged down trying to side quest and it gets really boring. You gotta snap yourself out that trance and move the story, it's the best part of the game.

      • People are saying leave the Hinterlands. Why are you even in the Hinterlands still? Game picks up as soon as you leave thay place.

        • It gets better. Just make sure to keep sending out agents on the map to unlock stuff.

        • The hinterlands do get a bit long in the tooth. Once you get a little further into the plot, things pick up. There are several totally optional areas that exist purely for lore junkies, so if that's not you thing, there's little need to venture off the main quests. I really enjoy the game, but I do feel a little constricted early on as you're forced into the herald role. You can flesh out you character a lot more as things progress. I guess my point is to stick with it.
