Why doesn't Shoulder Charge require a full melee charge?!
How is this move still in the game? A one hit melee kill that only requires you to get up to sprinting Speed? ridiculous. You should only be able to use it with a full melee charge.
I just recently ranked up Striker on my titan (my 3rd character) and after being killed by this cheap ass move countless times I now realize how easy it is to do. The worst is that you can kill someone, then run a little and kill someone else. That wouldn't happen if it took a charge.
Well, this post has been going on for over a week now and I still stand firm on my original opinion. Most try to bring up other classes, ways to counter a shoulder charge, the fact that melees are bugged and a lot of other things that are of way off the point to try and argue with me. Some reluctantly agree and some wholeheartedly. Some try to insult my intelligence which to me is funny because I'm never lacking of a good zinger. Some assume my intentions for this post and who I am, most if not all are wrong. We all know what happens when we assume right?
Shoulder charge, as it is, is a one hit melee kill that should require a charge even though it's in a different skill tree than the Striker melee. In fact, in the old Iron Banner bounties it counted towards the "10 melee kills" one. After the kill, the melee symbol appears on the top right of the screen. What more proof do you need? So after exhaustingly trying to keep the attention deficit population on the point I'm done with this post unwavered. Thank y'all for coming out.

Shoulder charge required you to be running at the person as opposed to your throwing knife or smoke. It also requires a slot on the perk tree. The Titan melee is not good to begin with and now you want to make it absolutely pointless if you are using shoulder charge

Warlocks have all kinds of cool stuff like the best grenades across the board, and some crazy melee range.(I main warlock btw) hunters have the best moves and jumps and things like smoke bombs and shadestep. Titans get shoulder charge and all 3 of their supers are badass! I get where you're coming from OP and you're right but what I'm saying is it's all good bud, let the Titans have their fun.

You have to spec to get the perk, thus giving up Unstoppable or Juggernaut. Also, you need to sprint to activate it and the sprint mechanic goes on a cool down. Your complaint is stupid.

Because you have to get a running start. Try running striker some time...getting kills with shoulder charge isn't easy. Also, shotguns drop them almost every time without the shoulder charge getting the kill.

10 RepliesWhy doesn't throwing knife one shot headshot and for Titans a small run and they can one shot kill. And mean which takes more skill. Throwing a knife that doesn't have crosshairs and getting a headshot or running a bit and punching them.
